I m trying not to be judgemental. Written and performed by the awardwinning Stephanie Ridings. Ridings captures the audience using a unique style that ll make you feel like you re at home watching a Netflix documentary. êêêê EDINBURGH FESTIVALS MAGAZINE Stuff SAT 10 JUN 6PM Another kind of love story, maybe everybody s love story. Stuff is playful, funny, sad and familiar. Lead clown for Cirque du Soleil, Sean Kempton, mixes comedy, mime, clowning and the odd bit of dance in this absurdist show about love The result is a highly energetic and entertaining, mainly non-verbal, physical piece that takes its audience on a journey through the fragility, hilarity and awkwardness of love. Mother is dying slowly, the wait is unbearable, the pressures insurmountable, the thoughts unbelievable. Surely a gesture towards God s bigger plan is needed? Sisters, Stella and Connie may be different from one another but share a common and profound love for their Mother. Can things really continue as they are? A coming-of-age story that maps the journey of a girl from a seaside town, to city life as a 20-something. Writer and performer Cecilia Knapp s debut piece is about a lot of things; growing up, Mothers, accidentally shaving off your eyebrows, drinking wine, love and one night stands. But it s mainly about losing her brother Leo to suicide and how that affects a person. Finding Home is an evocative collaboration of words, projections, vocals and instrumentals, both classical and contemporary. Featuring music by Bellatrix and Chris Redmond.
