2 W H O W E A R E The Calgary Folk Music Festival is a multi-faceted extravaganza incorporating 7 stages of musical diversity, Calgary s best beer garden, food and artisan market, talk tent and family area all enjoyed by over 13,000 engaged patrons daily from Alberta and beyond. We welcome, engage and grow a diverse audience of concert-goers, festival-lovers and young families. 3 W H O Y O U A R E Folk Fest has and always will be part of the DNA of what makes Fiasco special. When we were just one shop, this event was our biggest all year, and for that we are grateful. Not only is it now an opportunity to showcase the brand, but our unique activations, continual innovation, and family like partnership where we always strive to give more than we take. Being a sponsor at CFMF is unlike any other, because you know that its a select group of businesses that truly care about the festivals success. JAMES BOETTCHER, Chief Idea Officer, CEO, & Custodian of Culture, Fiasco Gelato Being a part of the annual Calgary Folk Music Festival for the first time was a very humbling experience. For four days, we had the opportunity to be a part of a community that shares the value of music, family, fun, and celebrating our diversity as a collective people. We got to hear many stories of how our product has affected the lives of several families and individuals, and in turn were able to share our knowledge of our brand with them. The energy of festival goers and volunteers alike was steadfast throughout the 4-day weekend, and there was nothing but good vibes and positivity. Familiar faces returned to our booth all weekend, and the generosity and dedication of the community provided $1200 in donations back to the festival as a non-profit organization. Not once did we feel like we were out of place, as we were welcomed by volunteers and Calgarians, some of whom have been attending Calgary Folk Fest for 30+ years. Right next to the family area, kids engage in their own performances and activities, and parents can watch their favourite artists while keeping an eye on them. STAGE 6 $25,000 PRogRAMMINg: SATuRDAy & SuNDAy DAyTIMe Stage 6 is boasts a massive tent which keeps the audience out of the sun and into the music. STAGE 4 $40,000 PRogRAMMINg: ThuRSDAy, FRIDAy AND SATuRDAy NIghTS; FRIDAy AFTeRNooN + SATuRDAy & SuNDAy DAyTIMe Stage 4 is our second evening stage and accommodates the second biggest music audience and many raucous and memorable Folk Fest experiences. Much of this stage s offerings are beyond the stereotypical folk experience. It s a perfect place to dance to a young and engaged audience looking for exciting new experiences.
