2 West London is a distinctive and dynamic area with an incredible range of arts and cultural events on offer. The Western Wedge are delighted to present the first West London Summer Festivals Calendar to bring all these diverse events together. As you ll see there is a huge amount happening and most of the events are free (except where specified)! West London is the place to be this summer enjoy! The West London Summer Festivals Calendar is also available to download from local authority websites across West London or from: Local authorities across West London, supported by the Arts Council England, have developed the Western Wedge partnership to enable a more strategic approach to arts and culture in the West London region. For further information on Western Wedge s work to date and West London s Cultural Offer 2012 please visit: Other initiatives taking place across West London include: A two-year project to promote and develop dance across West London and put West London dance on the map. A visual arts focused partnership to support networks and professional development for emerging visual artists in North and West London. The free online directory and resource for all of London s creative individuals, organisations and venues. Over 1,000 artists, arts organisations and arts venues already registered.
