BMR garnered international recognition with the release of their third album, On the Rise (Lonesome Day Records) that proved to be a symbolic title for the group as the album debuted at #14 on the BILLBOARD Top 50 Bluegrass Chart in On the Rise spent ten months on Bluegrass Unlimited Magazine s Bluegrass National Survey Top 15 Album Chart and the single, This Old Martin Box, spent the entire 2006 calendar year in the Top 30 Singles. Fans had eagerly awaited their July 2008 release of their fourth album, One Lonely Shadow (Lonesome Day Records) and were not disappointed. The album highlights the band s ability to perform their original, well-crafted bluegrass songs. A Musical Trip Around the World will feature an international assortment of popular Broadway, movie, operetta, and opera hits performed by soprano Brittany Robinson, tenor Brandon Russell, and baritone Eric McKeever the stellar cast of Knoxville Opera s outreach production of Lucia di Lammermoor. This show reflects the vast musical experiences available through the Knoxville Opera, from its traveling opera to its African American Voices series to its educational programs for local schools to its highly esteemed annual opera season. This exciting concert will be hosted and accompanied by Knoxville Opera's distinguished Artistic Director Brian Salesky. 3

The time is simply long ago and the place is the magical, mythical Sherwood Forest. Our hero, Robin Hood, and his Merry Band of colorful characters seek the help of the Foresters, manage to waylay the Aristocrats and set out to rescue Maid Marian and Marian s Maid. Prince John tries to stay calm as his Sheriff, guards and horsemen botch Robin s arrest, thanks to the aromatic Skunks. Wacky humor and an original score add to this fresh new look at a legendary outlaw in a legendary time. This production is part of the Missoula Children's Theatre's unique international touring project and is presented locally by MACA for the 20 th year, thanks to contributions from MACA Supporters and the Monroe County United Way.
