Apparatus used that allow floor work to be transferred to different heights and levels. Jumping with control and accuracy Health Related Fitness o Run in a relay competition, circular or shuttle o Perform a simple circuit with a range of exercises e.g. skipping with a rope, knee push ups, jumping jacks etc o Participate in interval work and activities that involve work and rest periods SPRING TERM Games - Rugby o Passing for accuracy; receiving safely and securely; travelling with control; handling on the move PE o Gym o Establish different balances; experiment with different kinds of run, jump-landbalance. Lead this into jump-land-rolls (different shapes) o Join together run-jump-roll-balance to show a change of face or front; explore travelling in different directions Dance o Compose and control a range of body actions and use of body parts. Their movements will show varying shape, size, direction, level, speed, tension, and continuity Coordination Skills o Play games using throwing and catching o 2v1 and 3v1 possession games; revise and consolidate tactical understanding.
