Wen-Pin Chien, Music Director The National Symphony Orchestra (NSO) is seeking qualified candidates to fulfill the following vacancies: Section Viola Section Cello Associate Principal Timpani / Percussion Associate Principal Horn Application: Please mail the following documents to NSO (21-1, Chung-Shan South Road, Taipei 10048, Taiwan, R.O.C.) before April 2, Application Form (can be downloaded at //nso.ntch.edu.tw/) 2. Curriculum Vitae 3. A Letter of Recommendation by musician from professional orchestras 4. Copy of personal ID or Passport Audition Date: Section Viola: Wednesday, April 18, 2007, from 10:00 am. Section Cello: Thursday, April 19, 2007, from 10:00 am. Associate Principal Timpani/Percussion: Wednesday, April 18, 2007, from 1:00 pm. Associate Principal Horn: Thursday, April 19, 2007, from 1:00 pm. Applicants will be notified on all necessary audition procedure one week prior to their audition dates. Audition Location: NSO Rehearsal Room (3 rd Floor, National Concert Hall, 21-1, Chung-Shan S. Road, Taipei, Taiwan) Audition Program: a. Concerto(s) Piano accompanist is required. b. Orchestral Excerpts Copies of orchestral excerpts are available upon request and will be ready for pickup on April 5, c. Sight-Reading.
