2 Enrico Padovani Biography Italian concert pianist Enrico Padovani is an active soloist and recitalist. He graduated in piano at the Conservatory of Music "Luigi Cherubini" of Florence, receiving the highest marks. He was awarded the Postgraduate Diploma's degree in piano at the Conservatory "Arrigo Boito" in Parma with a vote 110/110 cum laude. His musical interests havce grown in parallel with his passion for the humanities, which led him to a degree in Philosophy at the University of Parma. His piano masterclass training continued with Fabio Bidini (International Academy of Music in Perugia), Franco Scala (Music Summer Bardonecchia, Masterclass Academy of Pinerolo), Alberto Miodini (Academy of Cinghio Theatre in Parma), Alfredo Speranza (Advanced Courses in Rimini, Misano Adriatico and San Daniele International piano meeting) and Roberto Cappello (Conservatory "Arrigo Boito" in Parma). He won the first prize in the competition "Dino Caravita" Fusignano (RA) and has been awarded in ten other solo competitions, including the International Competition "Gino Gandolfi", International Competition "Città di Racconigi", the National Competition "Giulio Rospigliosi" of Pistoia, the National Competition "Riviera Etrusca" of Piombino, the National Competition "Città di Riccione". In 2005, he won second prize at the International Competition "Città di Padova" and the third prize at the European Competition "Città di Moncalieri" sections of chamber music. He has performed as a soloist and as a chamber musician in numerous music festivals: the Concert Society in Milano, Festival of Nations in Roma (Teatro Marcello, Villa Torlonia), Casa della Musica in Parma, Reggio Emilia, Modena, Mantova, and the XV International Piano Festival "City of Rimini. He also plays in duo (piano four hands and two pianos) with his wife Alessandra Mauro.

3 Enrico Padovani Biography In June 2005, at the Academic Theatre of Castelfranco Veneto, he recorded a CD of live piano recital including music by Clementi, Mozart and Liszt. In 2007, he signed a contract with an independent record label for the recording of a solo piano CD dedicated to the work of Erik Satie and Claude Debussy. He has also made TV and radio recordings. In 2007, he was elected president of the Cultural Association TimeoArte, an organization that promotes and encourages different forms of artistic expression and the integration between them by organizing events and artistic wide-ranging.
