Metro aims to ensure travel needs are met by paying for additional services which are not commercially viable, such as rural, early morning, late evening and Sunday services. What s new in this timetable Service Huddersfield Netherton Marten Nest Meltham A revised daily timetable has been introduced on this service. Service Huddersfield Netherton Marten Nest [New Service] This is a new Monday to Saturday daytime service between Huddersfield and Marten Nest, replacing most journeys on service 325. Service Huddersfield Marten Nest A revised daily timetable has been introduced on this service. The service now operates every 15 minutes Monday to Saturday daytime. Service Huddersfield Netherton Marten Nest A revised timetable has been introduced on this service with most journeys replaced by new service 323. 3 How to use the bus At the stop or shelter please indicate clearly to the bus driver that you intend to get on the bus. When you get on the bus please tell the driver where you are going. If you can give the exact fare, please do so. When you are getting close to the stop where you want to get off please ring the bell once, then stay in your seat until the bus stops. Smoking is not allowed on any buses. For the safety and security of passengers, all bus stations, some bus stops and some buses are fitted with CCTV equipment. Pay before you travel MetroCards, West Yorkshire DayRover and all other passes and permits carrying the Metro symbol can be used on most bus services in West Yorkshire. Other tickets and cards issued by operators are only valid on that operator s service. Every care has been taken in ensuring the accuracy of the details in this leaflet. 4 information Easy Access bus services Certain services in this leaflet offer low floor, easy access vehicles which are designed to make boarding, alighting and travelling more comfortable for all. Where possible we have indicated services which are not low floor accessible with the code NLF in our leaflets. If you are a wheelchair user and are considering travelling on the services within this leaflet, the following guidelines should be observed to make your journey safe and comfortable as possible: When the bus arrives at the stop the driver will lower the bus and/or lower the ramp to pavement level. Once on the bus, reverse into the dedicated area for the wheelchair so that you facing the back of the bus. Unless you are facing the correct direction, the bus driver will not set off. Remember to apply the handbrake. If you are experiencing difficulties please ask the driver for assistance. If you are planning to take your buggy on the bus please remember that up to 2 unfolded buggies can be carried at any one time but please note that wheelchair users have priority over the designated area.
