America s hottest new vocal group will deliver an electrifying evening of classic hits from the American Radio Songbook; bringing a unique blend of tight harmonies and slick dance moves to your favorite Doo-Wop, Motown, and old time Rock n Roll hits. The show is reminiscent of a time when, on hot summer nights, people would gather under a streetlamp to sing. It takes audiences back to an era of sharkskin suits, lashy cars and martini shakers. Under the Streetlamp features four leading singers who have performed in numerous hit Broadway musicals. Three of the four current cast members have performed in Jersey Boys, the documentary-style musical that tells the story of the Four Seasons. After achieving success performing in Chicago, Under the Streetlamp aired its irst PBS special in 2011 and a second in Classic hits irst performed by Frankie Valli, Elvis Presley, Tom Jones, The Beatles, Roy Orbison, Bobby Darin and more are reborn in this concert with great music and hilarious behind-the-scenes tales, and an exceptional onstage band composed of world-class musicians. The show is the perfect balance of tender ballads and up-tempo classics, all done with the same signature harmonies and slick dance moves that have made them irresistible for generations. And of course, the show would not be complete without a musical tribute to Jersey Boy Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. $35.00 each
2 Saturday, December 12, :30 PM Excitedly welcoming back everyone s favorite family band! The Lowe Family are no strangers to the Cole Auditorium. Having performed here in November 2012, they are warmly welcomed back with a Christmas celebration to remember. This performance will feature traditional Christmas carols, secular and sacred songs, and maybe even a sing-along or two! The Lowe Family has been entertaining hundreds of thousands around the world for over 25 years. All of the Lowe siblings began studying and performing the music of the masters from very young ages. Soon, additional instruments, dance classes and vocal lessons were added...along with more teachers and more practice time. The rest is history. The same can now be said about the grandchildren, who will be appearing with the group for this performance. As seen on ABC, CBS, PBS and other stations worldwide, The Lowe Family has distinguished themselves as consummate performers across the globe, giving select concerts in Europe, Canada, Latin America and China, while continuing to captivate audiences throughout America. Versatile on many instruments, the Lowes offer an amazing blend of showstopping classical, Broadway, Irish, jazz, bluegrass, old-time favorites, spectacular dance, gospel and Christmas favorites, old and new. This highenergy, fast-paced variety show will leave you breathless! After every performance the same words seem to resonate in the theatre, How can one family have so much energy and so much talent!? Additional photos and videos are available online. $35.00 each Centennial Sinatra featuring Steve Lippia Thursday, January 21, :30 PM Back by popular demand, celebrating what would have been Sinatra s 100th birthday What better way to commemorate what would have been Frank Sinatra s 100th birthday (December 12, 2015) than with a modern-day Sinatra Steve Lippia. Another of the most requested past aritst, Lippa performed as part of the DeWitt Series in October Reminiscent of the young Sinatra, Bobby Darin and Harry Connick, Jr., Steve Lippia moves from crisp, popping swing tunes to lush, poignant ballads with con idence. His natural sound and style are a remarkable combination of his own honest musical interpretation and the in luence of the best singers of an incredible era of American music. With great stage presence, charm and ease, e, Steve pulls his audience back in time to a comfort zone not often available able from the concert stage today. He delivers his music in a deeply personal way and includes standards permanently engraved in the American History of Music: I ve Got You Under My Skin, The Lady is a Tramp, Mack the Knife, Just the Way You Are, That s Life. It all comes back to us again through the work of Steve Lippia. With a hot, driving band behind him, Lippia impeccably delivers the best repertoire of the Big Band era and American Classic Pop, leaving his audience begging for more...steve Lippia: A once-in-acentury artist. $35.00 each
3 Break out the bellbottoms and leisure suits! Who doesn t remember the 1977 movie starring John Travolta? The smash hit ilm changed the way we dance forever! All the magic and music of the movie is brought to the stage by this production that played on Broadway for over 500 performances. One of the most beloved dance stories of all time in a spectacular new production, Saturday Night Fever is the coming of age tale of young Tony Manero who learns the value of life in 1970 s Brooklyn. With an extraordinary ability to dance, Tony is the king while in the disco. His weekend dancing helps him temporarily forget the reality of his life: a dead-end job, clashes with his unsupportive and squabbling parents, and his associations with a gang of macho friends. When he meets Stephanie, who also dreams of a world beyond Brooklyn, and they decide to train together for a dance competition, their lives begin to change forever. This musical is packed with legendary hits from the Bee Gees, including Stayin Alive, Night Fever, Jive Talking, You Should Be Dancing and How Deep is Your Love, in addition to several new songs written especially for this production. The production will prove that Saturday Night Fever gets at something deeply romantic: the need to move, to dance, and the need to be who you d like to be. Thursday, February 11, :30 PM $40.00 each Broadway: The Big Band Years Saturday, April 2, :30 PM The Big Band Era is reborn during an evening of story and song. Featuring hits from Gypsy, 42nd Street, Damn Yankees, Kiss Me Kate, Guys and Dolls, Annie Get Your Gun, West Side Story, and On The Town, BROADWAY: The Big Band Years is a thrilling musical adventure! The Great White Way was a magni icent platform for a staggering number of hit songs during the Big Band Era. Popularized by stars of radio and television, these standards included: The Lady is a Tramp, My Funny Valentine, Luck Be a Lady, I Got Rhythm, and I Get a Kick Out of You, and became part of the Great American Songbook. Join Musical Director and Conductor Keith Levenson and The Curtain Up Orchestra as they celebrate Broadway s best! These songs are characterized by strong songwriting from legends like Cole Porter, Bobby Darin, and Richard Rogers, and the show will even include a mini-biography of some of the responsible songwriters. Broadway music from this era has taken on a life of its own outside of New York. Recording and performing artists over the years along with movies, television commercials and shows have brought these songs into popular culture and have further-popularized the music of Broadway. This energetic show features an onstage 12-piece band featuring soloists with Broadway credits. $40.00 each
