2 ART. 1 SECTIONS The association Mille e una, with the sponsorship and the contribution of the Council of Airola (BN) organizes the eleven edition of international music performance contest which will be held at the Municipal Theater of Airola (BN), in Via Largo A. R. Capone, from 13th to 26th May All musicians of all nationalities can participate. The purpose of the competition is to encourage the in-depth study of the music for young people, as well as the valorization of the territory of Airola and the possibilities of artistic expression it offers. The auditions will be published and divided into VI sections. I - SOLOISTS (piano, strings, woodwind, guitar, harp, accordion) II - JUNIOR (all instruments) III - CHAMBER MUSIC, FOUR HANDS PIANO IV - JAZZ AND MODERN MUSIC (soloists and groups) V - ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS, SECONDARY SCHOOLS AND MUSIC SCHOOL ACADEMIES, CHOIR. VI - MUSIC SCHOOLS (soloists and groups) ART. 2 - CATEGORIES Applicants may enroll in one of the following categories with a free programme. SEC. I SOLOISTS Cat. A - max. age 13 (5 minute performance) Cat. B - max. age 16 (10 min.) Cat. C - max. age 19 (15 min.) Cat. D - max. age 22 (18 min.) Cat. E - no age limit (20 min.) SEC. II JUNIORS Cat. E ensemble ( from the duo onwards) The candidates themselves can be accompanied by the official pianist of the competition, paying 50. The musical scores must be communicated at least 30 days before the call for the competition.

3 ART. 3 The maximum playing time has been established. If the time limit is exceeded, the commission can stop the audition at that point. ART. 4 The candidates, pursuant to art. 97 of the law in the field of copyright, authorizes, by signing up for the competition, the association Mille e una to record and broadcast on Youtube channels, Facebook pages, websites in general the executions, even partial, of the various phases of the competition, as well as posting photos on any media platform, dépliant or specialized magazines. ART. 5 Candidates will not be able to make any financial requests or have any right towards the Council of Airola, Mille e una Association and Artistic Direction (see art.4). ART. 6 The personal information submitted at the registration, will be treated in pursuant to Art.10 of the personal data protection law n.675/96. The organization of the City of Airola Award excludes any other use of the above information. ART. 7 The candidates, during the course of the competition, will be responsible for their physical safety; the organization declines all responsibility on this topic. ART. 8 Competitors will have to exhibit, at the time of registration to the competition s Secretary, a valid document of identity and a copy of the tracks they will perform. ART. 9 The Secretary, when registration expires, will extract the letter, which will determine the order of execution, valid for all categories. The detailed schedule of the hearings will be published on the website ART. 10 PRIZE: The evaluations of the Jury will be expressed in cents: SEC. I: SOLOISTS Cat. A,B,C, with marks not less than 95/100 - a diploma for 1st place. Cat. D, with marks not less than 98/100 - a diploma for 1st place,a scholarship worth 300,00. Cat. E, with marks of 98/100 a diploma for 1st place, a scholarship worth II - JUNIORES Cat. A, with a marks of 95/100 - a diploma for 1st place Cat. B, with a marks of 95/100 - a diploma for 1st place SEC. III - CHAMBER MUSIC AND FOUR HANDS PIANO Cat. A,B,C with marks of not less than 95/100 a diploma for 1st place. Cat. D with marks of 98/100 a diploma for 1st place, a scholarship worth

4 SEC. IV - JAZZ AND MODERN MUSIC Cat.. A -B- C-D-E-F : with marks of 95/100 a diploma for 1st place With a 100/100 rating among all the categories (A -B- C-D-E-F ) a diploma for the 1st place, a scholarship worth SEC. V - SEC. VI - ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, SECONDARY SCHOOLS AND MUSIC SCHOOL ACADEMIES - SCHOOLS MUSIC - CHOIR Scholarship worth to the school that distinguishes it self in the competition. In all sections and categories for candidates with 95/100 or higher 1st prize and diploma. for candidates with marks 90/100 2nd prize, diploma; for candidates with marks from 85/100 3rd prize, diploma; for candidates with marks from 80/100 4th prize, diploma; ART.11 If the jury finds identical scores, it may assign the prize equally divided. The Jury has the right not to reward prizes; if it does not find an appropriate level. Judgment of the jury is unquestionable. Any controversy will be referred to the Italian text. ART. 12 Judges who have kinship or continuous teaching relationships with the candidates during the previous year of the competition will abstain from voting those candidates. Each sworn will release a special statement, regarding the relationships with the competitors. ART. 13 The winners of their section II-IV-V-VI will have to perform at the concert of the winners, at the Teatro Comunale of Airola, Saturday May 18, 2019, at 20:00, or there will be the decay of the prize. The pieces will be selected by the jury among those presented in the Competition. The winners of their section I-III will have to perform at the concert of the winners, at the Teatro Comunale of Airola, Sunday May 26, 2019, at 20:00, or there will be the decay of the prize.
