1 Competitors entering Junior or Senior Concert Group Classes may, upon recommendation of the adjudicator proceed to Provincial/National finals. It is the responsibility of the competitor to read carefully ALL rules pertaining to PIANO section (CLASS 2 of the National Music Festival Syllabus). See Page XII of the 2009 Syllabus. In the event that Concert Group Classes are sub-divided the winners of each subdivided class, providing they achieve a mark of 85% or higher, will proceed to a Playoff to determine the entrant in the Rose Bowl Competition. Should a competitor in a sub-divided class achieve a mark equal to or greater than the winner of a sub-divided class within the same discipline, that competitor will proceed to the Playoff.
