2 Thursday, March 26 A Celebration of Sculpture A day-long event to recognize all outdoor sculptures on campus, with special emphasis on the latest acquisitions donated through the generosity of the Berman Foundation. The event will include a tour of campus, presentations by individual sculptors, a panel discussion and a reception. A commemorative pamphlet featuring the sculptures will be available to participants. For information or ticket reservations, please call A musical farce inspired by the comic Roman playwright Plautus, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum is a fast-paced, witty, irreverent and slightly bawdy romp. In the comedy, Pseudolus, a crafty slave, attempts to win his freedom by helping his young master woo the girl next door who just happens to live in a house of courtesans. Since the road to true love never runs smooth many hilarious complications ensue. The original production of Forum earned six Tony Awards in 1962, including best musical. The situations and humor in this musical are suitable for children 10 and older.
