In a piece such as this, in hich each part usually enters independently, it is diicult to notate dynamics, especially since a lot o them are ritten into the piece, created y the voicings. I have tried to indicate areas here changes in dynamic levels are needed, ut rather than ollo them strictly, it ould e etter to let the conductor determine the parameters and pace o changes. In all cases, a gradual change rom one level to another is preerred, rather than arupt changes. rom measures 19 to 86, Violins 1 and 2 share a melody, each usually playing alternate notes o it.
