5 Group Music Classes (Ages Birth-Grade 5) Children respond innately to music from birth. Mother Nature s Music (Ages 0-3) 6-week session begins Tuesday, July 10th, 9:00-9:30am Play musically with your child through guided singing, bouncing, rocking, dancing, rhythm instrument, and chanting activities designed to awaken the young child s natural curiosity for music! We will crawl, fly, hop, leap, and swim like our favorite summer-time critters - all through the joy of making music together. Children attend class with their parent/caregiver. Each family will receive a kit featuring a guidebook, CD, and small music instrument. Seashore (Ages 3.5-4) 6-week session begins Tuesday, July 10th, 5:30-6:15pm Foster your child s growing independence and love of music in this high-energy, rhythmic music class! Dance, sing, and play musical instruments as we explore the seashore environment. Children will develop strong listening, singing, and aural skills through pattern play and song! Parent/Caregiver attends the last 10 minutes of class. Each family will receive a colorful poster folder, CD, and games associated with class activities. (Prerequisite: Child must be 3 years old by July 1st or have attended First Steps classes in Spring. We recommend this class only if your child is ready to work with teacher and peers apart from parent/caregiver) Friends at the Piano (Grades K-1) 6-week session begins Tuesday, July 10th, 4:30-5:15pm Join friends Katie, Dallas, the Twins, and Mrs. Razzle-Dazzle on a fun-filled musical and piano-centric adventure.
