4 A NOTE ABOUT THE DISTRICT EXTRA-CURRICULAR FEE Parents, administrators, and citizens of Clear Lake have overwhelmingly endorsed the passing of an extra-curricular fee to be paid by all secondary students participating in athletics and most fine arts, including choir. This is because CCISD, as a result of Texas legislative budget cuts to education, has received nearly $18 million less from the state than in years previous. In light of the quality of our arts education programs, their state and national recognition, and the academic and personal benefits inherent in participation in the arts, not one CCISD visual or performing arts program was cut, and we lost the fewest faculty of any department in the district! This is wonderful news for the district and our students! The fee is set at $50 per child, regardless of the number of extra-curricular activities he or she participates in, with discounts for families with multiple students and those with economic difficulties. Please contact Mr. Dominguez (rdominguez@ccisd.net) if you believe your students qualifies for a Scholarship, Administrator Waiver or Refund. HOW TO PAY THE DISTRICT EXTRA-CURRICULAR FEE STEP 1: Log on to If you do not have a login for ccisd4me, please register. STEP 2: Click on your student s name. On the student view, you should notice the extracurricular program and course number. If your child is enrolled in an extracurricular program and you do not see this information, please contact your program s sponsor to manually add your student. If you have multiple children in the district participating in extracurricular programs, the system will automatically make the fee adjustment based on the Fee Structure table. STEP 3: Click on the Pay Now button and you will be asked to fill in contact and payment information. STEP 4: Once payment is made online, you should receive an receipt for your records. Please allow 24 hours for payment to be processed. You may also pay your school secretary, or your directors can make sure the money reaches the district, though they would prefer you pay online or in the front office. IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS. CCISD4me Registration ~ Office of Communications Making an Online payment ~ CCISD Finance Department (281) Thank you for supporting the quality arts education of CCISD! 4
