Daniel debuted in his first title role in 2015 in Puccini s Gianni Schicchi for the James Cuskelly National Opera Summer School. He is also a regular performer with Opera Queensland in productions such as Bernsetin s Candide (2015), Verdi s La Traviata (2015), Phillip Glass s The Perfect American (2014), Verdi s Rigoletto (2014), Verdi s Otello (2013), and Bach s St Matthew s Passion (2013). Having made his company debut with Co-Opera reprising the role of Count Almaviva, Daniel is very excited to performing the Title Role of the Mikado with the company.

2 James Nicholson: Nanki-Poo James Nicholson relocated to Adelaide in 2010 after completing a Bachelor of Visual Arts at La Trobe University in his hometown of Mildura. James has been performing in various concerts and musical theatre productions since the age of 9. Since moving to Adelaide, James has completed a music degree at Elder Conservatorium as well as performing in the ensemble of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels for Opus Performing Arts and as Hero in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Albert Lennox in Secret Garden, and knife grinder in Oliver and 'Hillarian' in Princess Ida with the G&S Society. James played Tony' in Maria Callas Masterclass and Box' in Cox and Box for Elder Hall Lunch time concerts. James also sang in the Chorus of Otello for the State Opera. James ultimately wishes to pursue an international career in opera and musical theatre. Zachery McCulloch: Nanki-Poo New Zealand born tenor Zachary McCulloch has recently completed a Bachelor of Music from the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. He is a member of the Opera Scholars Australia program and was a semifinalist in the 2015 OSA Aria. Other performance highlights include performing in two Morning Melody concerts at Hamer Hall, with mezzo-soprano Suzanne Johnston; tenor soloist in the Bach Cantata Gott ist mein König and in Saint- Sæns Oratorio de Noël with the Monash Chorale. In 2016 Zachary will be performing the roles of Nanki-Poo in the Mikado with the touring company Co-Opera and the G&S Society of South Australia and Ralph Rackstraw in HMS Pinafore with the Savoy Opera Company. He will also appear as the tenor soloist for a performance of Handel's Messiah with the Monash Chorale. He will also give the Australian premiere of "A tale of two eyeballs" as part of an exhibition at the Heide Gallery of Modern Art in collaboration with artist Michelle Ussher.

3 Rod Schultz: Ko-Ko Rod has proven his versatility in a broad variety of roles, from musicals to children s theatre. Leading musical theatre roles include [Title of Show] (Jeff), Oliver! (Fagin), Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (Sweeney Todd), Blues in the Night (The Man in the Saloon), A Chorus Line (Paul) and Into the Woods (The Baker). Other credits include Next to Normal (Dr Madden/Dr Fine), A Little Night Music (Carl-Magnus), RENT (Collins), The Musical of Musicals (The Musical!), several productions of Les Misérables (Thenardier), and You re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Linus). As a vocalist, Rod has featured in cabaret, benefit concerts, corporate entertainment, and has originated roles in developing local works. He has sung live for ABC radio and has toured Australia extensively with children s favourite The Fairies. Since joining Co-Opera in 2012, Rod has toured Australia and Malaysia with Die Fledermaus (Frank), and gone onto operatic roles in Madama Butterfly (Goro), Cosi fan tutte (Don Alfonso) and The Magic Flute (Monostatos/First Armed Man). He has also appeared with the State Opera of South Australia as the silent, manic servant Sante in Il Segreto di Susanna for their 2015 intermezzo series. Eddie Muliau: Pooh-Bah Operatic Bass, Eddie Muliau has worked for several opera companies including the Tiroler Landestheater Austria, Opera NZ, Opera Queensland, OzOpera, and Melbourne Opera. Eddie studied at the Brisbane Conservatorium of Music and was the winner of the prestigious McDonald s Aria Award. Eddie has worked with Opera Australia s OzOpera since 1999 in productions of Carmen (Zuniga), Rigoletto (Sparafucile, Monterone & Ceprano), Madama Butterfly (The Bonze), Barber of Seville (Basilio) and La Traviata (Marquis and Doctor). Other key roles include: Joe: Showboat; Paul: Kiss me Kate; Horse: The Full Monty; Mephistopheles in Faust; Zuniga and Doncairo in Carmen; Tom in Un Ballo in Maschera; Angelotti and Sacristan in Tosca; Colline in La Boheme and the Commendatore, Leporello and Masetto in Don Giovanni. He has performed all the roles of Porgy, Crown, Jake and Jim, in Porgy and Bess. In 2014, he played the role of Nourabad in The Pearlfishers for Melbourne Opera, and Joe in Showboat for the Production Company; Eddie was nominated for a Helpmann Award in 2015 for his portrayal of the role.

4 James Moffat: Pish-Tush James Studied at the Elder Conservatorium from and left to join the Co-Opera company in 'Carmen'. He has since performed in several national and international tours including 'La Boheme', 'Die Fledermaus', 'Madama Butterfly', Acis and Galatea', 'The Magic Flute', Il Trovatore and 'The Marriage of Figaro', which appeared at the Maifestpeile in Wiesbaden, Germany. In 2013 James joined The Australian Voices, in the national tour of 'MOON' and appeared as one of six guests of invitation for 'La Voix Du Sud' in Noumea. He has since performed in the world premières of the Choral symphonies 'Ghosts in the Orchestra', and 'The Trillion Souls' premièred Unrepresentative Swill and was a member of the Off-Broadway Première in New York of 'Boombox'. James also performs regularly outside of his involvement in classical music. Since 2009 he has appeared yearly in the Adelaide Fringe Festival, performs regularly in several contemporary a cappella ensembles, and regularly produces and performs in cabaret shows. McIntyre Howie Reeves: Pish-Tush Macintyre Howie Reeves is a Lady Anne Miller and Frederick Bevan Scholarship winning baritone. As a member of the Adelaide Symphony Chorus and The Elder Conservatorium Chorale Macintyre has performed in Beethoven s 9th Symphony, Brittan s War Requiem, Orff s Carmina Burana and with Andrea Bocelli on his 2014 tour and singing in a quintet with Danny Elfman in his 2015 Adelaide Festival concert at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre. With Adelaide Chamber Singers Macintyre has performed in multiple 2015 concerts, their 2015 album One Voice and with The Rolling Stones to begin their 2014 Australian tour at Adelaide Oval. Macintyre was also a soloist in Mozart s Requiem at St Peters Cathedral and Bach s Matthäus-Passion. Macintyre also performed as a guest soloist for the Adelaide Carols by Candlelight 70th anniversary in Stage credits include: Lieutenant Barri in Swell productions performance of Stephen Sondheim s Passion at the State Opera Studios, The Major General in The Pirates of Penzance on the Popeye, the Father in the Elder Conservatorium s production of Humperdinck s Hansel and Gretel, Page and understudy for the King in Menotti s Amahl and the Night Visitors at the Space Theatre.

5 Grace Bawden: Yum-Yum Young Citizen of the Year Described as one of Australia s greatest operatic discoveries, Grace Bawden rose to prominence with a series of dazzling performances that led her to be a Grand Finalist in Australia s Got Talent 2008, at the age of fifteen. She has sung numerous professional engagements, including appearing at the South Australian National Football League Grand Final, in front of a crowd of over 40,000. In 2014, Grace performed Cio-Cio San (Madama Butterfly), touring regional Australia to significant acclaim and in 2015 performed in the roles of Leonora (Il Trovatore), Countess (Marriage of Figaro) and Despina (Costi Fan Tutte), among others. Grace sold-out her Sydney Opera House debut in 2008 and is currently the subject of a documentary entitled Finding Grace. Grace has composed and released a number of original songs as part of her recording career. Grace is a Living Legend of the City of Salisbury, a Friends of Australia Ambassador to Tourism Australia and was Sarah Jane Pattichis: Yum-Yum Sarah Jane completed her Bachelor of Music with Honours at the Elder Conservatorium in 2006, and has continued to study with Cheryl Pickering since In 2007 she joined the chorus of the State Opera of South Australia, also understudying the role of Meg in the company's production of Little Women. She was a member of SOSA's James & Diana Ramsay Young & Emerging Artist Program in 2014 and Sarah Jane began working with Co-Opera in 2008, touring nationally & internationally in productions of Pirates of Penzance (Edith), The Barber of Seville (Bertha), La Boheme (Mimi cover), The Marriage of Figaro (Susanna, Barbarina) and Die Fledermaus (Rosalinda). She has performed as a soloist with many Adelaide music groups, including the Adelaide Chamber Singers, Cantamus Choir and the Unley Symphony Orchestra. Sarah's competition credits include the Young Performer's Awards (state finalist in 2005, 2006 and 2012), the Barbara Howard Vocal Prize (winner,2006), the Arnold Matters Vocal Scholarship (winner, 2014) and the State Opera of South Australia Dawn Wallace Award (winner, 2015). Sarah has most recently appeared as Josephine in HMS Pinafore for the Gilbert and Sullivan Society of South Australia's Gilbert and Sullivan triple bill, Landry in SOSA's double bill production of Le Chanson de Fortunio and First Sprite in SOSA's The Magic Flute.

6 Bethany Hill: Pitti-Sing Bethany graduated in 2012 with Honours from the Elder Conservatorium. She has been a core member of the awardwinning Adelaide Chamber Singers, and is a member of State Opera of South Australia (SOSA) chorus. Bethany played the role of Red in SOSA s workshop of Cloudstreet and performed in the company s 2014 presentation of Schubertiade. She was a 2015 finalist for the Dawn Wallace Aria Award, and won the MBS Young Virtuoso Vocal Prize. Bethany is also a passionate exponent of early music and has studied with Early Music Vancouver, at the University of British Columbia, Canada, and is sought after guest with leading chamber ensembles including Ensemble Galante. In 2012 she made her debut for Co-Opera in the role of La Maestra de la Novice in Suor Angelica, and played Dorabella in Cosi Fan Tutte in 2015, touring nationally. Bethany performed the roles of Susanna and Ines in the Co-Opera Intermezzo Series productions of The Marriage of Figaro and Il Trovatore. Karina Jay Peep Bo Soprano Karina Jay has recently made her debut with State Opera of South Australia playing Papagena in Mozart s The Magic Flute. She is honoured to also be one of the newest members of the Ramsay Foundation Young Artist Program at SOSA. With CoOpera she has played the roles of Papagena and Second Sprite (The Magic Flute) and Lay Sister (Suor Angelica). Other past roles include Pamina (The Magic Flute), Gretel (Hansel and Gretel) Anne (A Little Night Music), Edith (Pirates of Penzance), Harris (Space Encounters), and Pepik and Blue Jay (The Cunning Little Vixen). Karina also adores chamber music and has toured Australia and Europe multiple times with Adelaide Chamber Singers. She received the 2012 Rae Cocking Memorial Prize, was a finalist in the Beta Sigma Phi Music Awards, 2014, and was awarded a scholarship to attend an opera summer course in Austria. Karina completed her Bachelor of Music with First Class Honours at the Elder Conservatorium of Music in 2014.

7 Monique Watson Peep Bo Monique completed a Bachelor of Music Performance under Guila Tiver at the Elder Conservatorium of Music and has recently completed a Master of Speech Pathology. Monique joined Co Opera in 2012, and has since performed multiple roles in Suor Angelica ( ), Suzuki and Kate Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly ( ) as well as chorus in Il Travatore (2015). She also understudied Papagena in the Elder Conservatorium's production of The Magic Flute (2012). In 2014 Monique travelled to the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, where she received a week of coaching under Kathleen Fergason, as well as attending the WAAPA Inaugural Art Song Festival in Perth where the had the opportunity to study with Deborah Birnbaum (New York) and Dr. Graham Johnson (UK, Lieder specialist). In 2013, she was awarded the Elder Conservatorium Award for Progress and Effort. Monique continues furthering her operatic career within a new generation of young vocalists. Sidonie Henbest Katisha Sidonie Henbest is a lyrical dramatic soprano. Her roles include: Fiordiligi (Cosi fan tutte) and Leonora (Il Trovatore). In 2015, she made her operatic debut for Co-Opera, touring nationally in their productions of Cosi fan tutte and The Magic Flute, and performing in their inaugural Intermezzo Series. Sidonie is a member of the chorus of State Opera of South Australia. Recent concert engagements include A Night of Grand Opera By the Lake at Glen Ewin Estate. Sidonie is honoured to have given Australian premieres of notable contemporary chamber works, including Peter Eötvös Natasha (based on his opera Three Sisters) accompanied by Soundstream Collective. RealTime described her as dynamic in the demanding vocal role. Since 2010, Sidonie has continued her professional development with mezzo-soprano Cheryl Pickering. She has been a Finalist for the Dawn Wallace State Opera Aria Prize and was the 2015 winner of the Wagner Prize, Adelaide Eisteddfod. Jodie O Regan: Katisha Jodie is thrilled to be singing a villainous contralto role in her debut with Co-Opera. Her previous musical endeavours range from wrangling a 3 meter T Rex puppet in a children's touring theatre show, to singing in a punk/opera fusion prog rock band, to touring the country's folk festivals in an A Cappella duo with her husband. As a classical singer, Jodie's rich voice is suited to Oratorio and she has performed the contralto solos of The Messiah, Elijah and Rachmaninov's Vespers. Jodie has composed and produced a number of choral and vocal pieces including several chamber operas. She works as a specialist music coach for community choirs and is passionate about adult music education. Jodie holds a Masters in Music Pedagogy from UQ and has studied singing with Rosalind Martin, Margaret Schindler and Robert Dawe.
