Are they convincing? Why or why not? The paper should also include historical background of the composer and the composition; discussion of musical style, form, and genre; footnotes and bibliography. Your research should be based on 2 recent journal articles, at least 2 printed biographies, and no more than 2 websites. Format: Use Chicago Manual style guide for paper format and citation, Direct quotations of any length and paraphrasing information found in another person s work require proper acknowledgement and citation. Plagiarism is a serious offense and will result in a failing grade for the course. All papers must be proofread prior to submission.
