In December 2010 Annika Treutler made her debut in the Philharmonic Hall of Berlin where she performed Schumann s Piano Concerto with the German Symphony Orchestra of Berlin. Her concert tours have led her through many parts of Europe as well as Israel and the USA. As a soloist she appeared in performances with the Polish Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra, the Robert-Schuman Philharmonic Orchestra of Chemnitz, the Philharmonic Orchestra of Brandenburg, the New Philharmonic Orchestra of Westfalen, the Oslo Symphony Orchestra and the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra. Some of the conductors she worked with include Stefan Soltesz, Ward Stare or Heiko Matthias Förster. In the season of 2011/2012 during her scholarship with the Mozart Society Annika Treutler played Mozart s Piano Concerto KV 482 with the Bochum Symphonic Orchestra under the direction of Steven Sloane in the sold out concert hall of Dortmund. She played at the Movimentos Festival in Wolfsburg, as well as the Liszt en Provence Festival and repeatedly at the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival. Furthermore she performed live on the NDR and other German radio stations. Moreover Annika is the founder and artistic director of the SommerKlang Festival. Since 2011 the festival takes place every year in Bossard, an artistic institution near Hamburg. Regarding national and international competitions the young pianist has received many honours. Thus she obtained prizes at the International Piano Podium in Munich, she won 2nd prize (whereas the first prize was not awarded) and the audience award at the Concours Grieg in Oslo, 1st prize at the Maritim Competition and a special audience award at the Gina Bachauer Piano Competition in Salt Lake City. At the German Music Competition 2011 in Berlin Annika was awarded with a scholarship as well as two special prizes. Furthermore she is an honouree of the Oscar and Vera Ritter-foundation and the GWK (an organization in Westphalia for the promotion of cultural activities) and scholarship holder of the German National Academic Foundation. Highlights of the season 2012/2013 include her debut at the Gasteig Philharmonic Hall in Munich with Tschaikowskis first piano concert as well as re-invitations from the Robert-Schumann Philharmonic Orchestra of Chemnitz and the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival.
