1 All-State Orchestra Audition Results The 63 rd Annual South Dakota All-State Chorus & Orchestra event will be held at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center in Rapid City on October 30-31, The All-State Grand Concert will be held in the Civic Center s Barnett Arena on Saturday evening, October 31 st, beginning at 7:00 p.m. with Dr. David MacKenzie conducting the All-State Orchestra. The members of the South Dakota All-State Orchestra are selected each fall by competitive auditions at three (3) sites around the state. A full symphony orchestra is then selected from among the best high school musicians in South Dakota.
