All District Youth and CE Directors shall assist the regional coordinators with the Regional Competition. All Regional Competitions Must be held by February 15, Bible Quizzing Team, Groups, Ensembles and Choirs must provide list sheet with entry forms and all forms must be filled out properly with names, ages, birth date and etc.

3 State Junior Talent All participants must comply with the Junior Talent Instruction Manuals. All Regional Competitions must be completed by: February 15, Deadline: Junior Talent for State Must be in the State Office by March 1, Postmarked by February 27, Note: All forms must be filled out completely and properly signed before entry form of the participant can be officially entered. No Faxes will be accepted not even to replace an original entry form that was sent in to meet deadline. If participant s entry form(s) and fee(s) are not in proper order and do not meet the State Office deadline, this will result in a disqualification. Disqualifications are not done by State, It s done by you! Under entry requirements: Eligible ages (7-12) required on or before competition in any Junior Talent competition on the local, regional and state levels. (See all Junior Talent Manuals). 4 State Junior Talent Registration Main Sanctuary Saturday, March 22, 2013 Time: 7:30 AM til 8:45 AM Art Division (Displayed Front foyer of church - after 1:30 PM) Participants, please make sure you pick up you ART by 3:00 PM. (State Office will not be responsible for pieces left behind) Participation Check-In After you have completed registration, PLEASE make sure you have all instruments set-up and music cued before competition begins. Sound Checks Saturday 7:30AM til 8:15AM Church Orientation 8:45AM til 8:55 AM Church Competition for all areas will begin at 9:00 PM If you are involved in more than one division, PLEASE indicate that on you participant form, (so that if you are called you will not be disqualified) Drama & Music Main Sanctuary Bible Team Quizzing Old Church Individual Bible Quizzing Old Church Bible Story Telling Church Sunday School Room NO Recorders and NO Videos in any competition areas.

5 State Junior Talent Competition Orientation and Instructions March 22, State Junior Talent Competition Orientation and Instructions 1. All participants must register before entering any area of competition. Your registration badges must be WORN AND VISIBLE AT ALL TIMES. 2. You must be on time for your area of competition. Lateness WILL lead to disqualification. 3. All participants must sign in with the coordinator of their area of competition at least ten (10) minutes prior to the Competition. 4. NO food, NO chewing gum, NO candy, and NO drinks will be allowed during competition nor in the Sanctuary or any area of competition. 5. NO beepers, NO pagers, NO cell phones, NO small computers, NO game boys, NO DVD players, NO video cameras of any kind and NO tape recorders will be allowed during competition nor in the Sanctuary or any area of competition. If so this will result in the participant(s) being disqualified. 6. You must sit in your assigned area for competition. The coordinator will assign seating. 7. Once you have entered, you must remain until the closing of the category of competition. Please OBEY the one on Courteous Corps (The Doors) 8. BE COURTEOUS WHEN OTHERS ARE COMPETING. 9. QUIETNESS is a MUST from the audience. Any distraction from the audience will lead to your leaving the area of competition. 10. Remember, we are here to select our STATE winners for the Church of God Florida-Cocoa Office competition. May the Lord Bless you, Our Talent His Glory! Awards, announcement of winners and closing will be immediately following competition. You are all WINNERS in our eyes.

6 State Junior Talent Information The deadline for State Junior Talent fees to be in the Executive Office is on the day of or before March 1, Attention: Teen Talent-P.O. Box Cocoa, FL (Must be postmarked by February 27, ) All Fees MUST be paid in full and sent in along with the participant entry form. NOTE: In order to be deemed officially entered, all entry forms must be filled out completely and properly with name, age, date of birth and appropriate signatures where required. NO FAX(ES) will be accepted, not even to replace an original entry form(s) that was sent in to meet the deadline. Failure to meet all requirements will result in you being disqualified.
