Excerpt for Preparatory Orchestra and String Orchestra, played at marked tempo. Two prepared pieces, one slow and one fast, preferably an etude, sonata or concerto movement. Selected pieces should be equivalent to Suzuki book 4 or higher and should be well-played, polished and at appropriate tempo (an All-State etude may be used as one selection). 3. Excerpts for String Orchestra and Sinfonia, played at marked tempos. Sinfonia: Full, clear tone Fluency through 4th position, proficiency in 5th and thumb position; rudimentary knowledge of tenor clef Sibelius: Karelia Overture (top line divisi) = 11 Time Signature: 44
