2 Roert Lau Roert Lau holds a B.S. in Music Education rom Leanon Valley College, an M.A. in Theory rom The Eastman School o Music and a Ph. D. in Musicology rom The Catholic University o America. He is Proessor Emeritus o Music at Leanon Valley College where he taught and chaired the Music Department. He has also served as Adunct Proessor at Penn State Harrisurg where he taught in the School o Humanities. Dr. Lau has had a varied career as a church musician. He was recently named Music Associate at the Cathedral o St. Stephen (Episcopal) in Harrisurg, PA, where he will colead diocesan Choral Evensongs as well as participating in occasional Sunday morning Eucharists and special events. He has more than 350 choral and keyoard works pulished y the leading music pulishing companies o the United States. He has een commissioned to write works or a variety o institutions, churches and individuals and is a consistent winner o Special Awards rom ASCAP or his work in pulished choral and keyoard works. Dr. Lau is the ormer Music Director o the Harrisurg Choral Society and ormer Artistic Director o Juilate Choral Ensemle o Gettysurg, PA. He regularly presents organ and choral workshops on a variety o topics or churches as well as chapters o the American Guild o Organists. He holds memerships in ASCAP, the American Choral Directors Association and the American Guild o Organists. He was recently awarded an Alumni Citation y his alma mater, Leanon Valley College, recognizing his contriution to the community, the college and his proession.
