Originally a Greek tune y Nicholas Rouanis this intriguing piece has also een adapted into various other cultures including klezmer (traditional East European eish music) Middle Eastern elly dance music and American sur-rock. The piece gets its color rom its scale hich contains to augmented seconds. Notes to the Conductor The melody in Dodi Li is passed around the various instrument groups making it an excellent opportunity to ocus on voicing. The melody should alays e heard clearly aove any accompanying lines.
