Overview: In this lesson, the goal and purpose is to attain an independence skill from hands to feet on a drum set and better understanding of styles found on drum set. *Goal: Able to play the listed Pattern to the Excerpt. Materials: a pair of thin or light sticks intended for drum set use, a 5 piece drum kit (Hihat, snare drum, bass drum w/ kick pedal, 2 3 toms, a drum throne to sit and access to a crash and/or ride cymbal), and Metronome. 2a.
