The material used in the applied lesson will include material from this list as well as other material suited to the individual student s strengths and weaknesses. This teacher will give a more specialized guide including other necessary information to the student when applied lessons begin. Level I (MVB 1211 & 1411, 2 hours credit) Emphasis at this level is on correctness and consistency of breath control, staccato and legato tonguing, hand and finger position, posture, and embouchure development.
