1 UWO Orchestra Excerpts Orchestra Audition Information and Excerpts Auditions will take place September 4-6, Sign up for an audition time by visiting N222 in the Arts and Communication building. For more information, contact Dr. Chmura-Moore, conductor of the Symphony Orchestra, at chmuramd@uwosh.edu. Information related to registration, orchestra policies, and semester scheduling can be found in the class syllabus. This document can be downloaded online at: The first rehearsal is scheduled for Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at 4:15 PM in Music Hall located in the Arts and Communication building. Freshmen, transfer students, and others who may be new to the Symphony: Perform a solo or etude of your choosing. At the time of the audition you will also be asked to perform sight-reading. Plan for auditions to span ten minutes. Returning students: Perform a solo or etude of your choosing. Please note that time only allows for a few minutes of this solo to be heard. Also, perform the orchestral excepts found below that are associated with your instrument. In addition, at the time of the audition, you will be asked to perform sight-reading. Plan for auditions to span ten minutes.
