2 2018 ALABAMA CHURCH OF GOD JUNIOR TALENT Fact Sheet GUIDELINES All division and category requirements are listed in the Junior Talent Competition Manual. The manual can be purchased at revision/, and the cost is $ We encourage you to purchase the manual as this will be the standard used for the adjudication process. The Bible Quizzing Manual/Study Guide is included in the manual. Each participant in Junior Talent must be ages See manual for further clarification. All participants must be regular attendees of the Church of God in Alabama. A participant may represent in competition only the church which the participant regularly attends. A participant may submit only one entry in each category, but may enter as many categories as he/she may desire. Each group entry must include a list of the names and ages (including birth date) of all participants. Please make sure you complete the proper form for your category. The accompaniment track for a Music or Drama entry should be placed on a CD disk or flash drive. NO TAPES or MP3's will be accepted. We cannot be responsible for equipment to play a MP3 file. Each CD/flash drive submitted may only be used for one entry. The same CD/flash drive cannot be used for multiple entries. The CD/flash drive should be clearly marked with title of selection and participants name. All percussion participants must bring a set of drums. A set will NOT be provided. Following the registration deadline and no later than the Monday before the competition date, a tentative schedule of performance times will be posted on the website, Adjudicator comment sheets will be available to all participants following the competition. As long as a participant is 7 years old or 12 years old for at least one day of the calendar year of competition they are eligible for all levels of competition in Junior Talent. Thirteen-year-olds are not permitted to participate in Junior Talent since they were eligible to participate in Teen Talent. Each GROUP entry must provide name, age, and date of birth for each member of group on form provided. The Junior Talent Manual is available for purchase from the International Youth Department at -talent-manual-2017-revision/. Judges will adhere to these guidelines.
