With a discography of over 90 albums and an extensive world-wide touring schedule, Canadian Brass is an important pioneer in bringing brass music to mass audiences everywhere. Current members include: founding member Chuck Daellenbach, tuba; Christopher Coletti and Brandon Ridenour, trumpets; Keith Dyrda, trombone; and Eric Reed, horn. With their fun-loving charisma, Canadian Brass brings genres of all types together big band, Broadway, Renaissance and jazz to name just a few. Friends Chuck Daellenbach and Gene Watts formed a brass quintet in 1970 which developed with new repertoire, creativity, and energy. Since then, Canadian Brass continues to thrill audiences around the world - and they don't look like they are letting up anytime soon! 6 Frank Dupree Date: April 4, 2012, 6:30 pm Ticket Info: No Tickets Required The winner of the prestigious International Piano Competition "e-piano Junior Competition'' in Minneapolis in July 2008, Frank Düpree is one of the best piano soloists in his age group and is rightly regarded as one of the most promising and exceptional talents of young classical music. Just 19 years old and already the holder of more than 60 national and international awards - this is just the beginning of a great musical career. Frank Düpree is an active piano soloist in recitals, as well as with orchestras, a chamber musician and a conductor. The young musician has travelled the whole world and captivated thousands of audiences. Now Frank Dupree will be bringing his talents to the Howard Center.
