HOURS (for music development) Monday am - 9 pm Tuesday am - 9 pm Wednesday am - 6:30 pm Thursday am - 9 pm Friday am - 7 pm Weekends... Closed JUNIOR ARTIST SESSIONS Our Junior Artist Sessions allow new artists to experience audiorecording, in a professional environment, while building themselves a personal portfolio. This portfolio provides a way for the artists, as well as their parents/guardians, to track their progress and investment. We offer these sessions for Voice, Electric/Acoustic/Bass Guitar, Drums, Keyboard & audio production. LIVE PERFORMANCE TRAINING As a part of their development, Junior Artists are given the opportunity to perform, in a safe environment, through live events created by Elevation. We also create public events for more advanced artists to perform. These events allow artists to generate income, while building a fan-base, as a part of their development. 1 elevationmusicstudio.com live@elevationmusicstudio.com
PRO SERVICES SONGWRITING, DISTRIBUTION, AND MARKETING Artists are taught how to create their own compositions, and to distribute them Online, through music services such as itunes, Spotify, Google Play etc. This allows them the opportunity to have their unique sound heard worldwide, as-well as the opportunity to earn return on their work. We also offer marketing through website design, social media development, and continued social media management. This complete process has been proven, time and time again, to boost the artists overall confidence; allow them to make new connections and expand their reach. STUDIO RECORDING & AUDIO PRODUCTION Our recording studio is comprised of state-of-the-art equipment, and allows us the ability to record and produce high-quality audio. We offer Voiceovers, Audiobooks, Demos, Singles/EPs/LPs, Commercial Audio, Vocal Drops, Video Production, and more. ARTIST MANAGEMENT Ongoing management for both solo artists and full bands available: however, we are not a booking agency. LIVE ENTERTAINMENT We can provide live entertainment for high level events, such as, but not limited to: Weddings, Festivals, Corporate Events, Parties, Private Functions, etc elevationmusicstudio.com live@elevationmusicstudio.com 2
ARTIST GRANTS There are lots of organizations that offer various development grants, for: audio recording, performance, marketing, music videos, promotional tours etc. This is from $ $70, of money, which doesn t have to be paid back. There, of course, is some redtape involved, in the preparation of grant submissions. We have the ability to maximize your chances of receiving a grant by aiding your preparation. For more information please contact us. POLICY AND PROCED 1. Tuition and fees, for sessions, MUST BE PAID, by one of the stated methods in #2, before session commences. This section applies to on-going music development (music lessons) ONLY 2. 5 URE 4. ALL sessions must be paid in full, despite attendance record, sickness or inclement weather. 5. Three (3) weeks, prior notice, or sum of three session must be given/paid should you decide to discontinue the scheduled sessions. 6. A minimum of 48 hours notice is required for cancellation of session. Makeup sessions are discretionary and will not be awarded in the event of delinquency or misuse of this gesture. Session fees are never reembursed; upon our discretion, all sessions are rescheduled. 7. Artist will be fired from the program, in the event of continued undisclosed absence, lack of interest or - continued delinquency of payments. 6 TERMS AND CONDITIONS PAYMENT Payments are made on the 1st of each month, for that month; this is mandatory. There have been many studies which show that music development increases, motor skills, cognitive function, memory retention, and builds confidence and self esteem! I say with all confidence: the results are well worth a commitment! RIGHTS (ROYALTIES) As part of musical development, artists are encouraged to participate in songwriting. In Canada, the copy right laws suggests that, as soon as an author creates a body of work, said author owns the rights to that body of work. It is important that each artist, who has created a body of work become a SOCAN member. SOCAN is a Canadian music rights organization, created for the soul propose of collecting and distributing music royalties to artists. A SOCAN account is free to create. Request a consultation for more information. Any finished work, presented by an artist, for development, will remain the property of that artist. If the authorship was created by both the artist and the EMS engineer, the profits derived from the work will be split 50/50 MUSIC (COMPOSITION) Elevation Music Studio will always remain the owner of the music and arrangement of the work. Any profit made by the body of work will be split 50/50, as laid out in the initial agreement. 5 elevationmusicstudio.com live@elevationmusicstudio.com
CANCELLATION/TERMINATION When you miss a session we will try to reschedule it so your payment is not lost; however, It is important to understand that these sessions are booked in advance. Just as your time is valuable, and we will do all we can to honor the time you have invested in considering development with us, our time is equally as valuable. We need to have a minimum of 48 hours notice, should you decide to cancel a session. Failing this, it is by our discretion that sessions are rescheduled. If a lesson is missed for any reason, including illness or instances deemed 'Acts of God' we still expect full payment for sessions. If you wish to take time off, as an option you can continue to pay for your sessions until you return, or you can give us three weeks notice, as per the agreement, and detailed below. It is important to understand that your time slot will not be reserved. Should you decide that you no longer want to continue with us, we need 3 weeks notice, as an option you may pay the equivalent of 3 sessions to cancel immediately. SPONTANEOUS TERMINATION Should there be continuous delinquency in payment; negligence or misuse of our time, property or service, including misconduct resulting in criminal prosecution, on or off Elevation Music Studio's supervision, or on or off our premises, or any thing that may be perceived, by the discretion of Elevation Music Studio, without Bias or prejudice; if you pose a threat to our clients or us, you may be terminated from being a client of EMS. elevationmusicstudio.com live@elevationmusicstudio.com 6
A NOTE FROM OUR LEADER "The heart behind Elevation Music Studio (EMS) is simply to bring together a few passionate individuals, creating a subsequent culture where music, and the art of music, is our common thread. I have always dreamed of being a part of a movement where the artist is submissive to the art; being completely attuned, comprehensive and equally overwhelmed by it - and in the interim, displaying honesty, humility and integrity. Time and time again, I have seen this nurturing process change individual perspective, and social dichotomy. There is nothing text-book, as it pertains to creating art; we are free to expound upon an emotion by which we are afflicted, and allow it's manifestation to be free; not to fit into the mold of what already exists - and do so absent thought and free from contempt. It is so liberating to freely express the emotion of the heart through exercising one's imagination and creativity, in a safe space, where there is an allowance for vulnerability, and absent judgment. This is the heart & mandate of EMS. I would love to chat with you about your art, passion and creative vision sometime soon! elevationmusicstudio.com live@elevationmusicstudio.com
