2 Learning Intention You should collect information for a factual radio show about Scottish Music. This PowerPoint will give you basic information about Scottish Music and it is your job to find out more information and develop this for your radio show script. You can also test yourself with the short test at the end.

To develop this for your radio show you should find out: - History of the instruments - How they are played - Where they are used - An example of Scottish music they play

5 Scottish Groups The next slide contains information about Scottish Groups. You should find out about: Pipe Band, Scottish Dance Band/Ceilidh Band and Scottish Folk Group. To develop this for your radio show you should find out: - Instruments in each group - Where they play - An example of music they play

7 Scottish Dances The next slide contains information about Scottish Dances. You must make sure you know the difference between Waltz, March and Reel. To develop this for your radio show you should find out:
