2 All-University Curriculum CREDIS IM E INSRUCOR(S) UNIVERSIY SUDIES ALL-UNIVERSIY CURRICULUM he All-University Curriculum is a liberal education curriculum that seeks to develop student's ability to learn, instills the desire to learn, and seeks learning as a lifelong endeavor. It was designed by the faculty to provide students the very best preparation for their careers and for life. By re-emphasizing the traditional liberal arts and sciences, this curriculum focuses on the core of learning that is essential for the well-educated adult. In this way students develop a sound foundation in important areas outside the major. he All-University Curriculum is also designed to equip students with essential abilities that are necessary for success in a rapidly changing world. aculty who developed the curriculum selected classical and traditional knowledge that has value for today. hey also identified contemporary knowledge in the social sciences, business, and technology to equip the graduate for survival in the world. All-University Curriculum (AUC) courses over their four years as part of graduation requirements. hey will each take one course from four of the five breadth categories for a minimum of 12 AUC credits. Each school and college of the University determines which of the four categories are required for its major. A course in the fifth category may be taken as an elective.
