Features This LGIT DVB-S2 Full NIM Tuner is consist of direct-conversion (zero IF) tuner and demodulator. offers excellent qualification required for advanced modulation systems such as 8PSK and DVB-S2. 2. 11 7-4-2 PHANTOM_InitEnvironment () Description This function must be called for each NIM in the system. Call this function to perform power-up initialization. This function MUST be called first, before any other API functions are used. This function initializes the front end system, and the caller's NIM structure. 12 7-4-3 PHANTOM_ChangeChannel () Description The purpose of this function is to combine the channel change details into one function. See PHANTOM_CHANOBJ structure for description of structure members. This function performs all the steps required to initiate a channel change operation. It must be called to lock onto the first channel following an PHANTOM_InitEnvironment sequence. 13 7-4-4 PHANTOM_Monitor () Description After PHANTOM_ChangeChannel has been called, call this function to monitor the LOCK/NO-LOCK status of the system. On successful return, the ACQSTATE and LOCKIND parameters indicate lock/no-lock Functional Flow Retrieve lock indicators and Acquisition state => PHANTOM_GetLockIndicators () => PHANTOM_GetLockState () Adjust the bandwidth after demod is locked =>PHANTOM_LLF_TunerBandwidthAdjust () * For more information, Refer to the appended file. 12 / 20
14 7-5 CX24118A ZIF PLL IC control Tuner control interface The CX24116 tuner control interface is compatible with CX24118A and CX24128 tuners. This interface consists of an isolated I2C-compatible serial bus and an AGC signal. Legacy tuner controls LD and FILTERV, formerly passed between the demodulator and tuner as physical signals, are accessed through tuner registers Tuner serial bus control The primary means of controlling the tuner is through the firmware, with no access from the host processor. Tuners CX24118A and CX24128 are both supported. When firmware support is not available for a tuner (tuners other than CX24118A or CX24128), tuner pass-through can be used. Figure 3 illustrates this method. Tuners CX24118A and CX24128 are both supported using this method. 15 8. Environment Tests Following value shall be maintained after each reliability test Compared with initial value. (1) Practical receiving shall be maintained with PLL locked. Leave samples in 20 2 for 96 5 hours, then in standard ambient for 60 minutes with standard power supply. 2. Take measurements within 1 hour. 1. Take measurements in standard test condition. 2.
