1 Curriculum Vitae Pat Nunn MIBS Broadcast Sound Supervisor With over 30 years broadcast experience, 18 years as Sound Supervisor, Pat Nunn has been responsible for sound in all show genres from the Channel 4 shows The Bank Job and Five Minutes to a Fortune, to BBC1 s Pointless Celebrities and House of Games ; from BBC1 s The One Show to ITV s The Nightly Show ; from Davina McCall s This Time Next Year to the award winning Eastenders LIVE episode in February 2010 and all week 30th Anniversary editions in 2015; and from Vic Reeves Ministry of Curious Stuff to The Wimbledon Tennis Championship and various Olympics from 2004 and continuing with 2016 in Rio, and the Commonwealth Games in 2018 at the Gold Coast. In addition to studio and OB productions, Pat has extensive experience of recording sound on location including rod operation as far back as The House of Elliot! The 11 years as Sound Recordist with Eastenders, which has included many Specials encompassing several consecutive weeks abroad, has helped Pat develop exceptional skill in creating solutions and preventing issues due to his extensive experience, positive manner and communication skills. He prefers to overcome or front load issues to ensure that problems do not arise. For many years Pat was also responsible for the dubbing of Eastenders in addition to the studio and location recordings, therefore managing the sound planning, shooting on location, shooting in the studio and designing the final mix in the dub. Pat comprehends that value for money is key, working equally well with small production teams, as he does with very large ones, where the budgets are tight and requirements often squeezed in both circumstances. Pat always pushes quality to the fore, whilst managing to be commercially focused. He is always honest in terms of anticipated results, considering carefully the achievement of best possible quality for the required and achievable budget. Pat has worked in advisory and sound design roles also, both in Britain and abroad, including advising on site, on a large-scale entertainment show made in Beijing.

DRAMA: ( ongoing ) Working at BBC Studios until April 2010, Pat s drama spectrum has varied over the years from House of Elliot to Eastenders. Pat s ability to deal with huge pressure enables him to supply the quality of sound coupled with the speed of working. His experience with Eastenders for the past 11 years has proved complete confidence in his ability to achieve quality and maintain precision at all times. Exercising this both in Britain and Overseas has provided him with ample experience culminating in the Eastenders Live episode, and he continues, in 2017, to work with Eastenders at their Elstree studios. Pat is also able to provide his own location recording kit capable of furnishing sound for any location drama.
