6 General General The Picotimer programmer pgm) is a programmer by which the Picotimer can be programmed and calibrated. Calibration is necessary to do a selftest on the Picotimer. Options can be added by using a chipcard with sufficient credit. When options are being added to a Picotimer, the value of the chipcard will be deduct and displayed Connection Make sure that the programmer is in OFFposition. Connect the programmer on the main power supply 3 VAC). Connect the programmer header on the Picotimer. Switch the programmer ON and insert a chipcard with sufficient credit. When the programmer header is directly connected to the Picotimer, installing can go wrong. On the display O appears the word "PICO", after pushing "calibrate & clear all" button. Turn the programmer header 8. When the Picotimer will be calibrated or programmed in the coin operated timer, connect the programmer header on the button print. For calibration and programming you need a chipcard with sufficient credit. WARNING: The Picotimer may not be provided of its own power supply during calibration or programming! Calibration and reset Calibration and reset Connect as mentioned above; Switch ON the programmer; Insert a chipcard with sufficient credit; Make sure there are no options selected; The calibrate & clear all button will lighting up; Push the calibrate & clear all button; The programmer calibrates the Picotimer and resets all its options; Switch OFF the programmer and remove the Picotimer. 8 Options & Buttons Add options With the programmer, several options can be activated by which the Picotimer gets a wider application. Options already added to the Picotimer, remain active. To add options on the Picotimer you need a credit card with sufficient credit. Add options connect as mentioned above; switch the programmer ON; insert a chipcard with sufficient credit; select the wanted option by using the buttons at the front of the programmer; the selected optionbutton will lighting up; the values) of the selected options) are directly being deduct of the chipcard; the selection option can be erased by pushing the selected optionbutton again this is only possible if the selected option is not yet added to the Picotimer); the programmer will display the future balance of the card; the "Add selection" button will lighting up; push the Add selection button to add the selection to the Picotimer; the programmer deduct the chipcard, adds the selected options) to the Picotimer and will display the value of the chipcard; switch OFF the programmer and disconnect the Picotimer Card switch When the chipcard has to be changed, push the "EJECT" button Buttons Because there are more options than buttons they have a double function: button : function EM and EM8; button : function EM and EM9; button 3: function EM3 and EM; button 4: function EM4 and EM; button 5: function EM5 and EM; button 6: function EM6 and EM3; button 7: function EM7 and EM4; button 8: function OFF you can select the functions EMtill EM7) ON you can select the functions EM8 till EM4) 4 Pico Timer Programmer EM
