6 BREAK-TW-V.4/4, BREAK--V.4/4 Specification of custom-made modification: BREAK-TW-V.4/4-IP56C This custom/made modification of optical converters video + duplex data /422 is designed above all for installation to close proximity of rotating cameras in both outdoor and industrial environment. Plastic box with IP56 cover level (in accordance to IEC 60529) contains: 1x optical converter BREAK-TW-V.4/4-BOX/ x (optical) splice cassette for 12 fibres 1x toroid 100W transformer 230VAC/24VAC. The transformer output is adjusted for supplying of one rotating camera up to the gain of 80W. Installation and Setting 1. Converter mounting Screw the box to flat surface or attach it to a column using HOLDER-PG10 holder. 2. Converter connection Connect optical cable to (optical) splice cassette and weld SC patch cords. Fibre type (MM/SM) of the patch cord must correspond to the type of fibre in the optical cable. After welding and measuring connect the patch cord to SC connector of the converter. Port /422 is pre-set to half duplex (terminals and Z). In case of using full duplex unscrew the upper lid and switch the DIP switch to position (see page 3). Then connect data cables and video signal to the converter inputs. Connect 230VAC to the input of toroid transformer. 3. Verification of converter functioning - yellow LED POWER is on after the connection of power supply - red LED FL (FIBRE LOSS) is off after the connection of a BREAK--V.4/4 receiver - green LED SYNC is on after the connection of video signal to the input - activity of data port is indicated by blinking LED Tx and Rx If all LEDs behavior corresponds to the description above proceed to initial revision of connection and afterwards to continuous use. Its reduced dimensions predetermine this modification for installation directly to camera covers. All electrical and optical parameters are therefore identical to the original modification.
