2 Who is behind TipatOr TipatOr emerged from a merger of 2 expert groups in the fields of MEMS and Displays TipatOr technology is in development for over 3 years TipatOr is seeking an investment of $1M for prototype development
3 Display market ~$110B for all display types TVs and smart-phones account for largest market portions Dominant technology is LCD OLED is emerging as next gen technology. Currently applicable only for small displays like smart-phones and watches
4 Display backplan All hi resolution displays are driven by an active matrix made of thin film transistors (TFT) LCD TFT used are a-si, IGZO OLED TFT used are LTPS, Organic TFT, Metal Oxide TFT. LTPS is the dominant technology LCD TFT can not be used for OLED displays
5 What is liquid metal switch (LMS) LMS is MEMS switch used in active matrix for emissive (OLED) displays as TFT replacement LMS turns OLED into the dominant display technology because it makes it the cheapest and most efficient display technology TipatOr will be the largest display brand in a $100B market outperforming all other major players LMS can be manufactured by OLED fabs without any capital investment

11 LMS value proposition LMS is deployed as MEMS switch placed between a power source and an OLED pixel Actuation is achieved by changing the shape of a liquid metal micronic droplet. An electrostatic field as low as 1.5V is sufficient Single LMS replaces multiple TFTs and capacitors in display active matrix (AM) pixel cell Last state is preserved, thus LMS is a bi-stable device that does not require refresh
