Working electrical outlets. Hot & Cold running water. Clean private lavatory with toilet tissue and soap. Twelve New White Towels. 1 Color TV (if possible). 1 DVD Player (if possible). 1 Boom box or Stereo with CD Lunch/Dinner:. 1 case of assorted Juices with Ice. 1 case of assorted Vitamin water. 1 case of Spring water (individual bottles). Herbal Teas (peppermint, chamomile, Echinacea, etc.). Honey, 2 whole lemons.. 1 fresh fruit tray (watermelon, grapes, oranges, strawberries, mango, papaya, banana). 1 fresh Deli tray, 1 lettuce, tomato tray, sandwich bread. Assorted Munchies (candy, chips & chocolate chip cookies) Halls cough drops. Menu to order take out from either: Cheese Cake Factory, P.F. Chang s, Friday s, Ruby Tuesday, Applebee s, or similar local takeout. **Please no pizza or KFC**. Fresh Sushi Rolls Combination of either California rolls, JB rolls, tuna rolls, or salmon rolls.. VEGETAIRIAN MEALS FOR (1) member of Black Violin - Mandatory. Condiments, utensils, trashcans, etc.. Deserts.

2 BLACK VIOLIN Technical Requirements The equipment listed below is necessary to be properly and adequately prepared for a Black Violin performance. You will be notified ahead of time of any changes. Black Violin travels with a Violin PRE-AMP that s plugs directly into stage mixer or available inputs requested below. The violin that plugs into the preamp requires a stereo connection, while the other violin only requires a mono connection. Sound Requirements: PURCHASER MUST PROVIDE: ARTIST NEEDS TO PERFORM 4 Available RCA Inputs or 4 Quarter inch Input or 4 XLR input 4 DI Boxes Preferably 4 Available power sources PURCHASER MUST PROVIDE: DJ EQUIPMENT (MANDATORY) 1. 2 Turntables PREFERABLY:. Technics 1210 or 1200 Vinyl Turntables. Technics MKIII 1200 CD Turntables ACCEPTABLE. Pioneer CDJ-1000 MK2 CD Turntables. Pioneer CDJ-800 Tabletop CD Turntables. Numark CDX CD Turntables. Denon DN-S5000 Tabletop CD Turntables 2. 2 phono & 2 line inputs mixers with cross-fader PREFERABLY:. Rane TTM 56 Performance Mixer or Similar Rane Models. Pioneer DJM600 4-Channel Mixer or Similar Pioneer Models. Vestax PMC-05Pro3 Mixer or similar Vestax Models. Technics SHEX1200 Mixer

3 ACCEPTABLE Any model mixer that has at least 2 phono & 2 line inputs with a crossfader. These channels are needed for a Serato Scratch Live external interface that hooks up to an Apple G4 15 inch Powerbook that the DJ uses pair 6ft. RCA _ inch, 1 RCA-RCA pair XLR- RCA (both ways) Purchaser must also provide: House System HOUSE SYSTEM to include: A 3 way actively crossed-over speaker system capable of producing an undistorted 110 db SPL at any seat in the house. The system should be flown where possible..(1) 24 Channel House console w/ minimum of 3 aux sends for monitors.(2) Klark Teknik 1/3 Octave Equalizers..(2) compressor/limiters.(2) Digital Reverbs.(1) Stereo Cassette Deck (RECORD).(1) Stereo C.D. Player TALKBACK TO STAGE, AND COMMUNICATIONS BETWEEN HOUSE & MONITORS IS Prefered. MONITOR SYSTEM to include:.we require a minimum of 3 separate monitor mixes..(6) Matched Bi-amped Monitor Wedges (cue wedge included).(2) Three-Way Side fill Monitor Stacks ( 2 18in. subs per side, 2 EAW KF850/SB850 stacks) MICROPHONES (Wireless!!!):.(3) Shure UHF SM 58 Handheld Wireless Mics.(1) Shure SM 58 Microphone.(4) DI s STANDS:.(3) Straight stands w/ bases not tripods.(1) Tall boom w/ tripod SUFFICIENT SNAKES, CABLES AND MIC STANDS MUST BE PROVIDED TO PATCH THE ABOVE EQUIPMENT. 4 REQUIREMENTS, SUPPORT ACTS MUST HAVE ADDITIONAL MIC S AND CABLES MADE AVAILABLE SO THAT BLACK VIOLIN EQUIPMENT & CONSOLES STAY SET UP DURING SUPPORT ACT S SHOW. PERFERRED EQUIPMENT: EAW KF850 system must be provided at all times. If this is not possible in your region, please refer below for suitable substitutions. CONSOLES: Listed Above SPEAKERS: EAW KF850, V-DOSC, S4, EV MT-4 or equiv. (sufficient sub-bass cabinets must be provided as they are a critical part of the musical performance/program.) AMPLIFIERS: CROWN STAGE ACCESSORIES:.(1) 8 by 6 by 2 risers w/ 8 by 12 piece of black duvatine for dressing. THIS RISER MUST BE SOLID AND FREE FROM VIBRATION TO PREVENT RECORDS FROM SKIPPING..(1) 8 Banquet style table LIGHTING Black Violin does not travel with a Lighting Director. We request that ample stage lighting is provided to clearly illuminate the group. ** The equipment in the rider is pretty elaborate, but that's usually for large concerts. If you have a smaller venue, the main thing Black Violin needs is a mixing board with at least 10 inputs. We need also need 4 microphones, preferably all wireless, 2 turntables and a mixer, and at least 4 monitors.
