The power draw of the Luminaire (including PE or remote monitoring unit) shall not exceed 0.50 watts when in the off state. Captive screws or use of latches are needed on any components that require maintenance after installation. No parts shall be constructed of polycarbonate unless it is UV stabilized (lens discoloration shall be considered a failure under warranty) Ingress Protection shall be rated a minimum of IP54. 2 Dark Sky Mounting Arm Connection Post Top Connection PE Cell Receptacle Photocell Replacement luminaires shall either be International Dark Sky Association Fixture Seal of Approval (FSA) certified or be consistent with FSA requirements. Retrofitted luminaire shall be internally shielded at the top to mimimize uplight. Luminaire shall mount on standard inch or inch O.D. horizontal tenon with no more than four 9/16- inch hex bolts and two piece clamp with vertical tilt adjustment range of +/- 5%. Luminaire shall mount on existing poles with tenon's range of -inch to 3.75-inch O.D. Luminaire shall have a 3-prong twist-lock photo-control receptacle in accordance with ANSI C The PE socket needs to be able to rotate, so that the PE window can always be positioned to face the North direction. When available, an ANSI C compliant, locking type photocontrol receptacle with dimming connections shall be furnished in place of the ANSI C complaint receptacle. Photocell shall be specifically designed for use with LED Luminaires V, fail on, energy saver turn-on, ANSI category C surge protection. Minimum 90,000 hour rated life. 10 year manufacturer warranty. House Shield Shall provide option for field installable house side light control. Equipment Identification Requirements: All Street Light Luminaires must include a Fixture Wattage Label identifying total input watts for the LED luminaire and nominal lamp wattage for induction. The label must be visible from the ground. For post top luminaires, place the decal on the post just below the luminaire. For more information, refer to ANSI C136.15: American National Standard for Roadway Lighting Equipment. A graphic representation of the Standard is provided at the Department of Energy s Municipal Solid State Street Light Consortium website: LED Module/Array Requirements: Lumen Depreciation of LED Light Sources LED module(s)/array(s) shall deliver at least 70% of initial lumens, when installed for a minimum of 50,000 hours. Assemboy shall be rated a minimum of IP66. Power Supply/Dimming Driver Requirements: Power Factor Power supply should have a minimum Power Factor of 0.90.

The Driver and LED arrays shall be designed for nulti0-current impout operations with adjustable ratings at 350mA, 525 ma and 700mA. Rateed LED current should be at least 1 Amp. Luminaires shall be supplied and installed with surge protector rated for 10KV per ANSI/IEEE C (or latest). It should also meet test procedure in accordance with IEEE C (or latest). Power supply shall operate between -20 C and 50 C ambient. Output operating frequency must be 120 Hz (to avoid visible flicker) and input operating frequency of 60 Hz. Interference Noise Roadway Lighting Performance Power supplies shall meet FCC 47 CFR Part 15/18 (Consumer Emission Limits) Power supply shall have a Class A sound rating per ANSI Standard C63.4 The project shall satisfy the Roadway Lighting Performance standard in IESNA RP-8 (Latest Version) Luminance Criteria below. The values given for luminance shall govern. If the standard cannot be met without additional fixtures, existing luminance levels (Luminance Uniformity) will be maintained. This definition applies to densely developed business areas outside, as well as within, the central part of a municipality. The area contains land use which attracts a relatively heavy volume of nighttime vehicular and/or pedestrian traffic on a frequent basis. b) Intermediate - Those areas of a municipality often characterized by moderately heavy nighttime pedestrian activity such as in blocks having libraries, community recreation centers, large apartment buildings, industrial buildings, or neighborhood retail stores. c) Residential - A residential development, or a mixture of residential and small commercial establishments, characterized by few pedestrians at night. This definition includes areas with single homes, town houses, and/or small apartment buildings. Certain land uses, such as office and industrial parks may fit into any of the above classifications. The classification selected should be consistent with the expected nighttime pedestrian activity.

5 1 There are conditions and situations which may suggest that increased vertical illuminances are appropriate to increase the perception of safety and reduce criminals' opportunities to operate under the cover of darkness. Vertical illuminances can improve facial recognition, recognition of peripheral elements and peripheral movement, and minimize deep shadows when compared to simply designing toward horizontal illuminance criteria. In densely populated areas, areas where nighttime activity is intermittent throughout the entire night, areas where the architectural configurations provide opportunities for significant shadows, where narrow/deep entryways are frequent, where dense and high (1.2 meters; 4 feet; and higher) landscaping occurs for great stretches, where pedestrians are likely to be alone and on a recurring schedule (e.g. shift workers walking to bus stops, walking home), where crime has been recorded as a community problem and/or where community officials predict future nighttime disturbances (based on anticipated future land use and development), consideration should be given to invoking the "Special Conditions" criteria. 2 Values measured or calculated at ground level. 3 Values measured or calculated (1.5 meters; 5 feet) above pavement, in both directions, parallel to the direction of travel on the walkway or bikeway.
