The GBC StreamPunch III provides a flexible, cost-effective punching solution for departmental and midlevel production environments. Provides ready-to-bind documents in a wide variety of hole patterns and styles. Includes user-replaceable die set options. Can be controlled from the host operator touch panel display. Punches paper with a weight of 20 lb bond (75 gsm) to 80 lb cover (210 gsm). Can punch up to 300,000 sheets per month. GBC StreamPunch III - NA (#6581) - MES only GBC StreamPunch III - EU (#6583) - MES only This unit provides a professional in-line punch solution for the InfoPrint Pro C900 and C900S. 2 The unit punches individual sheets at the rated print speed. Provides ready-to-bind documents in a wide variety of hole patterns and styles. Options include a wide variety of user-replaceable die sets. The die sets are a consumable part. This punch cannot be selected from an IPDS TM datastream. The GBC StreamPunch III must be directly attached to the SR5000 Finisher. Punched output cannot be stacked into the SK5000 High-Capacity Stacker. The SR5000 Finisher must be installed when the GBC StreamPunch III is installed. The North American version (#6581) punches the 11-inch edge of 8.5 in x 11 in sheets at host printer speed. The European version (#6583) punches the cm edge of an A4 (21.59 cm x cm) sheet at host printer speed. Can be controlled from the host operator touch panel display. Punches paper with a weight of 20 lb bond (75 gsm) to 80 lb cover (216 gsm). Up to 300,000 sheets per month. Bypass mode allows media that are supported by the printer to be bypassed directly to the SR5000 Finisher (#4540, 4541). Can be used with the Cover Interposer Tray CI5010 (#4600, 4601) by placing the Punch Unit after the Cover Interposer. Media inserted by the Cover Interposer can then be punched. Physical dimensions: 12 in x 38.5 in x 28.5 in 154 lb (69.9 kg) Configuration rules: Minimum number of this feature: 0 Maximum number of this feature: 1 Prerequisites: InfoPrint Pro C900 or C900S Corequisites: A line cord must be ordered for this feature. The SR5000 Finisher (#4540, 4541) is required when the GBC StreamPunch III is installed. The GBC StreamPunch III Cover Kit (#6587) is required when the BK5000 Saddle Stitch Booklet Finisher is installed. Compatibility conflicts: None Customer setup: No Limitations: The European version (#6583) and the North American version (#6581) must be ordered as an MES. Refer to above for paper sizes and weights supported. Plant installation: This feature is not available on an initial order. Field installation: Feature number 6581 for North American voltages (115 V ac, 60 Hz). Feature number 6583 for European voltages (230 V ac, 50 Hz). 3 Die sets The GBC StreamPunch III is capable of punching a variety of hole-punch patterns by simply changing the die set. Die sets can be changed quickly without tools. The die sets currently available are listed below. The die sets are a customer replaceable part and are not covered under the maintenance agreements. It is a customer responsibility to obtain replacement die sets. The following die sets can only be used with the GBC StreamPunch III North American (#6581). Any quantity of each of these die sets may be ordered.
