19 STATIONERY STANDARD STATIONERY ITEMS Use. Stationery serves an important communication link between the company and its audience. Bentley s be Conference and be Careers Network will use the standard stationery items for their correspondence. Format. be Conference and be Careers Network standard stationery items include letterhead sheets. These items have been designed to display the conferences identity mark and the logotype. The formats shown are the only stationary choices available. Personal names may appear on company business cards but will not be printed on either the letterhead sheets or the envelopes. The business cards are the property of the individual employee of Bentley, but standard stationary items are considered the property of company and will not include an individual s name. 22 CORPORATE POWERPOINT CORPORATE POWERPOINT/TEMPLATE+BENTLEY OVERVIEW DO NOT USE: A new look has been developed for the Bentley corporate powerpoint presentation. There is a template with which you can create your slides and a Bentley Overview presentation which you can use in its entirety or pull slides from to accent your own presentation. The template is saved as a Design Template (.pot file). This design template should make updating existing presentations to this new look easier. Using a Design Template supplies a consistent background, color scheme, and text and object formatting. MERGING PRESENTATIONS INTO NEW TEMPLATE To use the Design Template, save the.pot file into the Microsoft/Templates folder on your hard drive. When you are in PowerPoint (2003) open an existing presentation, click on the Design tab in the Formatting toolbar. This will replace the existing master settings with those from the new template.
