7 Know Your On-Screen Guide DIRECTV 7 TV Window Watch your program while using the guide. Highlight Bar Use the ARROW buttons to highlight a program and view its description. To tune to a highlighted program, press SELECT. On Demand next to a channel name indicates that On Demand content is available. Highlight the channel name and then press SELECT to access. Channels Highlight the channel abbreviation to get the channel description. Advance Timeline Press FFWD to advance 12 hours. Press RWD to go back 12 hours. Guide Options Press DASH to sort programming by category, move to a specific date and time, change your Favorites list and see On Demand titles. Restart next to a show means you can restart the show from the beginning. Select the show, then press RWD to watch from the beginning. Restart not available on all programs. Go to directv.com/restart for a list of programs. Timeline To see what s on later, navigate forward with the RIGHT ARROW. Use the LEFT ARROW to go back.
