2 Discover the most personalized TV experience TiVo Service gives you total control of the TV programming you love and it s so much more than a DVR! With an Internet connection you have access to an entire universe of movies, TV shows, web videos and streaming music, plus an App Store. Press the TiVo button on your TiVo remote control to get to TiVo Central, the starting point for all of the amazing features available with TiVo! Finding and recording shows Search & Record Not all searches are created equal. From the TiVo Central screen, select Find TV, Movies & Videos, then select Search. Enter a few letters of the show title or actor name, and TiVo searches across live TV, OnDemand, DVR Recordings and Netﬂix to ﬁnd matches. When you ﬁnd something you like, select it to see the show s information screen, then choose Get this show. You can record a single episode (select Record next episode) or every episode in the series (select Create a OnePass). OnePass Recordings Never miss your favourite shows. Set up OnePass and your TiVo Service will gather every episode for you, including streaming shows from Netﬂix, DVR Recordings, live programming, plus content from Cogeco On Demand all season long and earlier seasons if you choose. From TiVo Central select Manage Recordings and OnePass, then select OnePass Manager. Guide Find out what s on TV now or later! Press the Guide button on your TiVo remote to ﬁnd what s on right now, and what s coming up. Use the arrow keys to move around the guide. Press FORWARD and BACK to move right or left one page at a time. Press ADVANCED to move 24 hours ahead and REPLAY to move 24 hours back. WishList searches Expand your entertainment horizons. Search by actor, director, keyword or category and every time a show s title or description matches your criteria, it s recorded for you. To get started from the TiVo Central screen select Find TV, Movies & Videos, then select WishList searches.

3 Watching Shows Live TV Return to live TV at any time. Press the Live TV button on your TiVo remote to watch live TV. Press Live TV again to switch tuners. While watching live TV, you can pause, rewind, and play the video in slow motion. My Shows All your recorded or streaming programs. My Shows is the ﬁrst menu item on the TiVo Central screen. Here you ll ﬁnd all of your recorded and streaming shows and all of your TiVo recommended shows (TiVo Suggestions). Hint: You can get to the My Shows list by pressing the TiVo button on your remote control twice. Discovery Bar & Suggestions TiVo finds shows you ll love. This is no ordinary TV-watching experience. Only TiVo service keeps track of your likes and dislikes and makes suggestions accordingly through the Discovery Bar at the top of most screens and the TiVo Suggestions folder under My Shows. You Can Do Even More Watch Netflix right on your TV! To start enjoying Netﬂix on TiVo, simply sign in to your Netﬂix account from your TiVo box. All available Netﬂix titles are integrated into the search tool and recommendations. You'll never have to press the "Input" button on your remote control again! Watch these titles now on Netﬂix. 4 Create a Custom Channel Lineup. Return to the show you were watching. Hide the Live Video Menu. Faster Fast Forward. Turn TiVo Suggestions On or Off. It s easy to minimize the number of channels in your program guide. Simply access your channel lineup and select channels. From the TiVo Central e screen select Settings & Messages, then Settings, Channels. If you go to TiVo Central while watching a recorded show, you can return to your show by pressing the Zoom button. If you want to return to live TV, just click the Live TV button. If you don t want to see the show you were watching in the live video window in TiVo Central, just press the Slow button to hide it. Want it to reappear? Just hit the Slow button again. Press the Fast-forward button and you ll begin scrolling through a show. Want to go faster? Press Fast-forward again. Really want to move through a show? Press the Fast-forward button a third time. Press the Rewind button in a similar fashion to access three speeds of rewinding. TiVo Suggestions will automatically record programs that it thinks you will like. To turn Tivo suggestions on or off: From the TiVo Central select Settings & Messages > Settings > Recording > TiVo Suggestions. The Re-Zoom button. Make Frequent Use of the TiVo Button. Most TiVo users know that when on the Guide, clicking the Zoom button will resume the show in the upper right-hand corner. Get it? Re-zoom. Resume. Just a little shortcut secret between you and your DVR. When you pick up your remote, the ﬁrst button you should press is the TiVo button. It takes you to TiVo Central, your TV's new homepage. From here, a world of instant entertainment is at your ﬁngertips. Train Your TiVo. Teach TiVo what shows you love and what you don't. Your TiVo will listen and learn - and make even better recommendations. Simply press the Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down buttons up to 3 times to say how much you really love or dislike a show. Highlight Yes to record TiVo Suggestions, or No to turn them off, and then press Select. Record a Series or Multiple Episodes with OnePass. It s easy with the OnePass function. From the guide, Select a show that you want to record»select option "OnePass and Other options", then "Create OnePass". If you want to change the parameters of your OnePass, select Options. Use Your Tuner Swap to the Max. Watch two shows live without skipping a beat. Say you re on one tuner in real-time, selecting Live TV allows you to switch to another tuner where you re free to rewind and fast-forward another show. You can switch back to the other tuner and rewind to catch up on what you missed. It s a sports fan favorite. Skip the Ads or Catch That Replay. Find Your Lost Remote. Recover a Deleted Show. Quickly Delete Something. Press the Advance button to instantly jump forward 30 seconds and bypass ads. Press and hold the Advance button and you catch up to live TV. Miss that great sports play or punch line of a funny joke? Press the Replay button to jumpback 8 seconds. Finally - an easy way to locate that pesky missing remote! Simply press the Remote Finder button on the front of your TiVo receiver and your missing remote will sing a tune. Did someone accidentally delete your show? No problem. TiVo can recover it for you. Navigate to the bottom of your My Shows folder where you will see a Recently Deleted Recordings folder. Click on the folder, select the show you want and recover it. To delete a show or entire folder, simply select what you want to delete from the My Shows folder and press the Clear button on the bottom of your remote.

5 The TiVo button takes you to the TiVo Central screen, the main menu and starting point for all your TiVo features and settings. If programmed, TV PWR turns your TV or A/V receiver on/off. Your TiVo Service is always on. Press Select to choose menu options or shows to record. Use the Arrow buttons to navigate the TiVo menus and the program guide. Left arrow takes you back. Use the Thumbs Up and Thumbs Down buttons to rate shows for TiVo Suggestions. Pause freezes a show. Press it again to resume playing. Rewind rewinds a show. Press it up to three times for three speeds. Slow plays a show in slow motion. Replay repeats the last 8 seconds of the show. Press and hold to jump to the beginning of a show. On Demand provides direct access to the Cogeco Video on Demand library. Clear removes the display of the channel banner or program guide, and deletes titles from the My Shows or To Do list. Live TV takes you to live TV. If you re watching live TV, use it to swap tuners. Info shows the channel banner while watching live TV. Press it again to make it disappear. Use Zoom to change the way programs are displayed on your TV. Use the Channel Up/Down buttons to change the channel and to page up/down while in the program guide or TiVo menus. Guide takes you to the program guide, where you can find shows to watch or record. Press it again to clear the guide. Press Record to start recording the show you re watching, or to set up a recording for a show selected in the program guide. Play starts playing a show from the My Shows list. Fast-Forward fast-forwards through a show. Press it up to three times for three speeds. Advance moves forward in 30-second increments; press and hold to jump to the end of the show. Or, press Advance to jump to the next tick mark when fast-forwarding or rewinding. In TiVo with HD menus, the A, B, C, D buttons sort and filter views. Look for the on-screen tips. Enter/Last returns you to the last channel tuned to in live TV. It also works like the Select button when in guide view. How to Program a Remote to Control a TV/Stereo You can program your TiVo remote to only have to use one remote to control your TV or sound system. From TiVo Central, select Settings & Messages (or Messages & Settings) > Settings > Remote, CableCARD, & Devices > Remote Control Setup.
