11 PORTUGUESE HIGHWAYS SAFER THANKS TO PANASONIC VIDEO WALL Road safety is the main priority for Brisa, the largest management company and highway concessionaire in Portugal. The company oversees the security of more than 16,000 daily users of its highways from a central operational control room, dealing not only with mobility management but also responding instantly to any accidents. With this priority in mind, Brisa decided to update its video control system with 44 new TH-55LFV5 video wall screens from Panasonic. Arranged in a giant rectangular mosaic covering 40 square metres, the 55 screens display real-time images of everything happening on the roads managed by Brisa. Panasonic video wall displays were chosen due to their robustness and resilience to shocks and drops, as well as their seamless bezel which allows a single image to be displayed across multiple screens without any noticeable interruption. Brisa was also impressed by the high reliability of the screens and their ability to work 24 hours a day throughout the year.

12 Unforgettable visitor experience for the AUDI Pavilion The Autostadt in Wolfsburg, Germany, is the world s leading automotive destination. So being tasked by Audi and installation specialist ProfiMusik to help create an unforgettable visitor experience for the Audi Pavilion in the Autostadt, was a great honour for Panasonic. To deliver the ultimate audio-visual environment, the Panasonic PT-DS100X was the projector of choice, thanks to its high-definition, high-brightness capabilities. The installation featured no fewer than 12 DS100X projectors, positioned to provide full projection, incorporating edge-blending, image wrapping, curved projection and minimal maintenance.

13 NOBEL BANQUET: MAKING THE IMPOSSIBLE POSSIBLE It s no exaggeration to say that guests at the 2013 Nobel Banquet in Stockholm were treated to an extraordinary experience at the dinner, when the operatic entertainment was accompanied by magnificent visual effects projected directly onto the deep red walls of the iconic City Hall by six Panasonic PT-DZ21K projectors, transforming the venue beyond recognition.

14 RAISE THE MEMORY OF TITANIC The world s largest Titanic exhibition opened last year in Belfast, Northern Ireland in commemoration of one hundred years since the loss of the famous ship. And Panasonic is helping to make the experience unforgettable for visitors from around the world. Over 60 Panasonic projectors and lenses are used within the exhibition, notably in the Titanic Beneath gallery, in which five DZ110X projectors create a display on a 12-metre screen, giving viewers the sensation of flying over the wreck in a submersible. This then transforms into a bird s-eye view of the wreck, achieved using multiple video processors which project into a pit, with in-built projector processing creating a soft edge-blend effect.

15 Bringing The Wall to life XL Video are the multi-award winning AV experts responsible for the projection of Video Director Richard Turner s innovative video display on Roger Waters The Wall Live concert tour. To help XL Video bring the shows to life, forty units of Panasonic twenty thousand lumens PT-DZ21KE and PT-DS20KE projectors are being installed into the grand scale stadiums and arenas, as the musician delivers twenty-seven electrifying rendition performances across Europe running until autumn Roger Waters comments on the technology of the show; This wide wall stadium show couldn t have been done 40 years ago.
