10 Multimode Fiber Solutions The four Uniprise Multimode Fiber Solutions allow for a cost-effective deployment of enterprise LAN network infrastructures. Whether your network calls for 10 Megabit or 10 Gigabit, our fiber optic solutions meet or exceed industry standards. CommScope takes a flexible approach with our Uniprise Fiber Solutions. We guarantee channel distances based on the amount of combined connector and splice loss*, instead of industry standard lengths. This allows for flexibility in design and choice of our ST, SC or LC connectors, all of which have excellent performance characteristics. Uniprise LazrSPEED Solution Support transmission using 10G 850 nm VCSEL technology to distances of 150 meters, 300 meters and 550 meters, respectively. * Guaranteed distances assume a maximum combined connector/splice loss of 1.5 db and cable attenuation of 3.5 db/km for 62.5 micron and 3.0 db/km for 50 micron. All distances include patch cord lengths. Additional connector/splice loss can be accommodated with shorter distances. We can support longer distances with less combined connector and splice loss. 12 Single-mode Fiber Solution CommScope offers a premium Uniprise Single-mode Solution, which allows network designers to fully utilize the entire optical spectrum. With the convergence of voice and data onto a single network, fiber choices can be confusing. Uniprise TeraSPEED Solution, however, allows for the greatest flexibility and cost-effective deployment of converged networks, and is fully backwards compatible with existing single-mode networks. Uniprise TeraSPEED Solution enables 18-channel course wave division multiplexing (CWDM) allowing for costeffective bandwidth growth, and by enabling transmission from 1265nm to 1625nm, adding 30% more usable spectrum.
