1 EX-PROTECTED PORTABLE POWER SUPPLY UNTS 125 A for Zone 1 Special requirements apply for power distributions for the use and operation of portable equipment in hazardous areas in Zones 1, 2, 21 and 22. t is necessary to ensure that any external mechanical influences are effectively kept away from the equipment. CEAG explosion-protected power distributions fulfil these high mechanical explosion protection requirements by means of a high-strength protective framework made of stainless steel (1.4301) and enclosures that have been specially developed for this purpose.
