It provides the user with a sound technological foundation for meetg current and future signal processg challenges. In future, functions which previously had to be realised from start to fish special devices will be able to be performed efficiently and cost-effectively the complete system; an example of such a function would be the decryption and re-encryption of the transport streams of transmodulator modules conjunction with the UFZ 896 six-way CI module. This range of functions has been significantly expanded to clude more special modules such as encoders, IP modules or universal terface modules for data exchange. The durable alumium die-cast housg offers standg thermal properties, whilst at the same time, the UFOcompact plus modules are characterised by a particularly low level of power consumption. 7 Infotament Headend Solutions I System Overview I 7 UFOmi The UFOmi headend family facilitates the combed reception of DVB-S, S, T, T and C signals by means of eight multistandard frontends. The standalone headend a compact design also offers a six-way decodg option (CI) and eight flexibly adjustable put channels DVB-C or DVB-T. What s more, the UFOmi is characterised by a very high level of energy efficiency and a remote configuration option. Additional baseband signal processg with a channel filter, NIT, support for various LCN standards and the flexible decodg option all add up to a product with a very wide field of application.
