5 Deposits: A 50% non-refundable deposit confirms the booking and serves as an acceptance to our Terms and Conditions The remaining 50% of the total amount is paid 2 weeks prior to engagement. We only proceed with the function should full pre-payment be received. No exceptions will be made. A refundable deposit of R1000 is to be paid for any damages, as part of the invoice before the function. Should breakages or damage to the property exceed this amount, you will be invoiced accordingly. The damage deposit will be refunded if applicable no later than 14 days after the function. Note that a date is not confirmed unless the 50% non-refundable deposit is paid. Terms Terms for payment of the event are the following: 1. The quoted final cost plus the damage cover fee, minus the deposit, must be paid 14 business days prior to the event date. 2. Any added costs due to higher than minimum guaranteed guest counts, extra services or additional duration of services will be billed to the client within 5 business days after the event, and must be paid within 5 business days after the event. 3. It is the client s responsibility to minimize and insure that guests are not negligent during the event and any damage to equipment/material/property will be billed to the client. 4. A guaranteed number of guests must be confirmed one week prior to the function and the final payment will be in accordance with these numbers and no refund will be given should the numbers decrease after this time.

6 5. Outstanding balances (if any) must be settled prior to departure. Any amounts remaining unsettled at this point will be subject to interest at 20% pa for every day outstanding. If payment is not received according to the terms of this contract, the event planner reserves the right to take legal action and charge a fair amount of interest on the final billed amount. Delivery Fee If the event takes place more than 10 Kilometers from Pretoria East (Equestria), a fee of R16.21/Km will be added to the total costs to cover gas and vehicle mileage. Cancellations Upon cancellation of the event planners services or noncompliance of the terms and conditions by the client the following rules shall apply; 75% cancellation fee will be charged/ forfeited once quote approved and secured 40 days and less prior to the event date: 80% cancellation fee forfeiture Less than 30 days prior to event date: 90% cancellation fee forfeiture And 20 days prior to event date: 100% cancellation fee forfeiture Event Planning Service If a client requests that the event planner coordinate the venue rental & décor, entertainment, photography, valet parking, flower arranging or other aspects of planning the event, there will be a small fee charged for this service to account for the labor needed to plan the event.
