3 Matrix Switchers Apollo 4K+ Multi-Format Seamless Matrix Viewer The SY Apollo 4K+ is an advanced HD/UHD Multi-format Matrix Viewer, designed for handling and control of multiple video input signals from 480i to 1920 x 1200 WUXGA, HD video sources including 1080P and to be displayed in full screen, dual-view, tri-view and quad-view on a HD or 4K UHD display. Most common analogue, digital video and audio inputs are supported as signal sources including AV (Composite Video), YPbPr (component), VGA and HDMI. The Apollo 4K supports three main modes of operation: 1. 4K UHD Quad Video Processor 2. Full HD Multi-View Video Processor 3. Seamless 4 x 2 Matrix Switcher The powerful graphic engine employed in the Apollo 4K+ enables the three modes of operation to allow multiple combinations of use. Switching between any of the non preset group inputs will not be seamless and the Apollo 4K will be a 16 x 2 multi-format presentation matrix switcher. With the Apollo 4K+ in 4K UHD Quad mode, one or both HDMI outputs will include 4 x full HD signals that will be visible on the 4K display and each of the four full HD signals is presented pixel for pixel on the 4K UHD display without any down scaling or degradation. For more advanced applications the Apollo 4K+ can be easily cascaded to create large and easy to control seamless switching or Multi-View system environments of almost any size. The Apollo 4K+ is fitted with two HDMI output ports for showing the Multi-View image on two independently controllable HD channels simultaneously. The Apollo 4K+ is HDCP compliant and features full EDID management for both VGA and HDMI connections. Audio on the Apollo 4K is selected from the group sources and switched to the HDMI and de-embedded analogue outputs. Software is supplied to allow full configuration of the Matrix, Quad and Multi-View modes along with EDID management, Preset storage and IP settings. The Apollo 4K+ is a powerful Video Graphics Processor in a 1U Rack-mount chassis, with low power consumption of less than 20W. Whether it s your teaching space, meeting room, collaboration or hospitality areas the Keypads are an all-in-one solution for operating audio-visual and associated equipment. Each button is labelled for its purpose and the full colour back-lights indicate the current status and guide the user through the available options. Typically the Keypads may be used to control a projector or display power along with the source inputs and volume control. However, the Keypads are the most powerful on the market today offering advanced functionality for connection to many other devices such as Video Conferencing systems, Room Audio signal processors and in addition they are easily integrated into much larger systems. The Ethernet option adds the power of Network control to your Keypad. This allows both control of Ethernet enabled devices and with the built-in web server browse in and you re in control remotely, leaving you to concentrate on presenting or running the meeting. 15 Audio SY has extended its range of audio products to include new products for 4K UHD as well as 4K 18G HDMI 2.0 HD-3.5AD Compact Amplifier 2 x 25W with RS232 Control The HD-3.5AD de-embeds audio from HDMI signal up to 1920 x 1200 and provides a stereo analogue output only. EX-18G This new product de-embeds digital audio up to 4K2K and provides a stereo analogue and optical S/PDIF outputs EM-UHD-EX Embed or Extract (De-embed) from 4K UHD HDMI 2.0. 19 Case Studies Twickenham Stadium Lancashire NHS Trust Unilever Anglia Ruskin University The world-renowned Twickenham stadium, home of England Rugby, seating an impressive 82,000 spectators is the largest dedicated rugby union venue in the world. When it came to upgrading 160 Executive Boxes, SY Keypads were chosen bringing the benefits of a product with a smart user interface and control system all in one package. The Keypads provide a modern, robust and easy to use solution for any person to walk into the box, turn on the TV, change channel and adjust the volume of the display without the need for any further guidance. After the final whistle when home time comes the Keypads also interface via the IPTV system to allow all displays to be switched off remotely. The Harbour is a 154 bedded mental health hospital designed with extensive input from service users and clinicians and is based on good practice guidance and 'safety by design' to ensure that it can provide high quality care. SY custom Keypads were chosen to provide local control of TV and presentation facilities for the bedrooms, communal areas and staff meeting rooms. Designed and customised for the project they incorporate a local HDMI laptop input along with the Keypad and controller all in one standard housing. For a number of recent meeting rooms and collaboration space upgrades the SY MS51 Scaling Presentation switchers were selected for the HDMI and VGA switching with one single scaled output via Cat cable to the display.
