59 Organic Electronics for Flat-Panel Displays Passive Matrix and Active Matrix OLED Displays OTFT Active Matrix Displays on Plastic Organic Light-Emitting Diodes Organic Thin-Film Transistors OTFT LCDs on Plastic Organic light-emitting (OLEDs) and organic thin-film transistors (OTFTs) are complementary technologies displays. Either technology can stand alone, but they complement one another when used together.
