4 Technology 14 bit Digital Video Processing Toshiba s 3rd Generation digital video processor runs at a fast 333Mhz, with high 14 bit internal processing. PixelPure 3G is capable of producing an amazing 4,096 levels of gradation (16 times* greater than an 8 bit processor) for a smooth, natural picture without image banding. PixelPure 3G continuously monitors the incoming video signal, adjusting multiple picture quality parameters including real speed progressive scanning, dynamic gamma, and now dynamic back-light control and improved dynamic MPEG noise reduction. Superior processing creates a superior picture. With PixelPure 3G, all 2007 REGZA models set themselves apart with incredibly deep, vibrant, sharp, clean and natural images, for home theater beyond your imagination. Dynamic Back-Light Control DynaLight utilizes advanced PixelPure histogram image processing to monitor the brightness level of each video frame, and automatically adjusts the backlight intensity based on the image content. Precise signal analysis allows for 256 levels of backlight control. This creates seamless transitions, and a Dynamic contrast that is up to 5X that of the original panel contrast. The result is a considerably deeper black level for increased detail and depth. All 2007 REGZA models include DynaLight to create superior lifelike images, even in low light environments. Wide Color Gamut LCD Panel ColorBurst significantly increases the LCD color space to reproduce 90%+ of the NTSC Color Gamut. By utilizing proprietary image processing and color control algorithms, ColorBurst expands the number of available colors and improves the color accuracy. This significantly improves both color purity and color saturation. The combination of ColorBurst and superior video processing creates colors that are more vibrant, more natural, and more enjoyable. Game Mode Game Mode reduces the delay that normally occurs between signal input and actual video display. This results in faster response between the display and the input from the game controller when playing video games that require split-second timing. IR In and TheaterLink IR Pass-through Through the use of an IR blaster, TheaterLink allows remote commands to be sent through the set to home theater components, even if hidden away from view. An IR input is convenient for custom installation as it allows the set to be installed without the IR sensor in view. 5 120Hz Anti-Blur Technology A standard LCD TV has a frame rate of 60 frames per second, or 60Hz. To avoid possible motion blur with fast motion video, ClearFrame doubles that frame rate to 120 frames per second, or 120 Hz. While there are many possible methods for creating the additional 60 frames, ClearFrame utilizes superior Motion Vector Frame Interpolation technology. By utilizing the power of the PixelPure processor, MVFI analyzes Frame A and Frame B, and creates a new Frame A+B. By evaluating the speed and direction of multiple picture elements within the frames, this advanced system virtually eliminates motion blur without decreasing image brightness, or adding flicker. 1080p Full HD LCD images are now crisp and clear regardless of image motion. All 2007 Cinema Series REGZA models include ClearFrame to provide the ultimate home theater experience when watching fast action movies and sports. and SoundStrip 2 This technology utilizes a thin-line speaker design with enhanced dynamic range. This eliminates the big round speakers, without losing any of the big home theater sound. SoundStrip 2 technology has been improved to highlight the screen, with only a thin strip of cabinet visible beneath the screen. Native Mode restores the size of the picture by the 3-5% that is generally lost during the normal over-scanning that occurs on traditional sets. It also avoids unnecessary scaling of 1920 x 1080 HD signals when displayed on 2007 REGZA 1080p Full HD LCD televisions. and ColorMaster Pro ColorMaster adjusts hue, saturation, and color brightness of six different colors to create picture quality your way. This provides deep, natural colors for increased depth and realism. ColorMaster Pro adds three user selectable colors for additional adjustments based on user preference. CineSpeed LCD panels have the 8ms or faster response speed necessary for cleaner high-action home theater images. A wide 176 degree viewing angle ensures that you ll have the best seat in the house.
